I'm guessing you already know this, with the linguistics degree and all, but since we're spelling everything out 'domina' the feminine form of the Latin word 'dominus', and although it's a real word it really doesn't mean 'kinky sex fiend' in Latin, it means 'woman who is married to the master (dominus) of the house'. Using it in the sense of 'kinky sex fiend' is a corruption of the original Latin. Therefore it's faux-Latin. Which is, as I said, no better than faux-French.
And then you have the issue that 'dominus' is not the word we use for a dominant male. Which means using 'domina' would be an inconsistent feminine form. Which is why it doesn't make sense.
Whereas if we stick with the faux-French instead of the faux-Latin, 'domme' is at least a reasonable feminine form of 'dom'.
Which is prettymuch all I said in the first place.
Seriously, none of the above is particularly controversial. You're being kind of stalky about this.
