Horses in the US are tougher and wilder.

What?

The horses in the US come from Europe.  The horses in North America kept going extinct.

No.  Horses in the Americas are a much better breed.

Almost all horses in America are descendants of ones brought here by the Spanish and that escaped to the wild. Horses have only been here for about 400 years.

But I know some amazing warmbloods bought overseas and imported. They can jump anything.

How on earth would you know PA?  So far, your knowledge about equines is definitely lacking.....typical city boy thinking.

Most of the breeds in the US today started in Europe.

I'd give my left nut to have an Andalusian.....but the Paso Finos are sort of cute too with their little "skippy" gait.

Of course, I'd also love to have an Arabian, a Quarter Horse, a Thoroughbred, hell...ANY horse!  Personally, I love to jump.....the feeling of the power from the animal is awesome!

Yeah. Several times. Then they went extinct.

No they weren't.   That is like claiming the Native Americans never had horses until the Europeans got here.   They had the good horses- and the ones brought from EU were inferior and still are.

Look it up. They went extinct about 7600 years ago. Around the time the humans showed up. The Europeans then re-introduced them.

You think so? I always think they're ugly. Although strawberry roans are adorable. However some of the nicest quarter horses are blue roans.

Ever read any Indian folklore or history? They used dog sleds before the Spanish imported horses. There's a lot of documentation for this:
Edited to add wiki horsiness...

This was news to me, but Wiki confirmed it, and here's a succinct, albeit child's, version of the history of horses in North America: http://www.texasindians.com/horse.htm

I always thought the roans looked kinda like a paint gun exploded near them, lol. But I do have a real soft spot for a beautiful dapple gray :)
