If he's so sensitive my secret attitude would be wah wah wah big deal grow a pair n thicker skin, I wouldn't say it out loud or nothing though, I'm meanish now an then but not that mean lol.quote:
ORIGINAL: barelynangel http://news.yahoo.com/video/miamicbs4-15750840/teacher-criticized-for-how-she-sent-a-note-home-24445195 Good grief, this mother is mad and angry and demands an apology because she claims her 2nd grader was humiliated because the teacher stapled a note to his shirt explaining to his mother he was talking in class. I seriously ask you -- how did most of us survive being a kid? THIS is what a mother gets mad about and goes TO THE NEWS about nowadays? Hell, while my mom may have been irritated at the stapling the shirt (which this teacher offered to replace), the teacher would not have been in trouble, I WOULD HAVE BEEN for talking so much in class the teacher felt it necessary to send a note home to my parents. I don't care if its second grade or not. I don't care what it was, there was no way in hell i wanted ANY notes going home from school. Sorry but to me this bid for attention from this mother is ridiculous and i don't blame the school board for its response. Hell, i remember when we were "humiliated" or openly "punished" in school that the other kids saw and yes sometimes laughed at you for getting in trouble. What is this world coming too when a mother goes to the NEWS to bitch because her kid had a NOTE stapled to his shirt because she hasn't taught him that he needs to be quiet and LISTEN to the authority of the TEACHER in school rather than talking so much a note to her gets sent home. Again, good grief. angel
