Just a note regarding shivers and coldness...thats also part of the process of the body going into shock, all the blood races to your organs thinking your in danger and leaves your body cold....and of course your gonna feel spacey then.....might not be about subspace at all.

that is a extremely good point. observed behaviors are not directly connected to a specific cause. Often observed behaviors can have mutlitude of causes. In the case of play, looking for other signs that are consistent with shock is very important to consider the cause of the shivers. In the case of catize, on the description she gave as well as some basic assumptions... being that she's talking about it positively leads to me to believe we are not talking about shock in her specific case.

yes, I know for me, if Master just started flogging my cunt really hard with something stingy, or uses the cane straight off, it goes physically cold immediately, I'm experiencing shock...yet if it starts slow and builds up, its a whole different scenario.

Seriously, I don't believe what I have experienced is going into shock; my skin is quite warm and I am alert. I do appreciate your point and will discuss it ahead of time and ask the dominant to check my pupils, etc. when it occurs again.

yes catize . I can see it now . ughh Master would you please check my pupils to see if I am in shock or if I am just enjoying this so much that I am delerious from it .. lol

there is an obvious difference between going into shock and going into sub space . hopefully an experienced Dom or Master will know this

My sub is a pain slut. She loves pain that I put on her but not pain from another source usually. She did have a mammagram once though and the nurse asked her what she was smiling about.

She does go into sub space quite a bit and also has had orgasisms (sp) from the pain itself. On the other hand if she stubs her toe then it's not a turn on for her at all.
