I have age requirements. I don't date men younger than me or even within 5 years of me generally. They're bad bets. I'm a single mom with a child with behavioral issues and a family with financial ones. I've been out on my own since I was 17. I'm not going to go to the clubs on weekends. If we get a night off to hang out just adults? Then I want to spend it having adult conversation and just doing things we all like (and sex too! lol) not spending some obscene amount of money on club cover charge and watered down alcohol and music so loud we can't even chat. Partying isn't fun for me anymore. I like the occasional night out and love a good family party but that's not how most guys my age party. D is 32 next month and I'll be 24 in Sept. We've both been married before, we both know how to live on a limited budget, we both know the importance of children in the family, we both know that the world isn't going to just fall in line because we want it to, and that we've both learned some harsh lessons first hand. Men my own age have a problem with these concepts. I'm first in line to admit I'm young and dumb sometimes still too. I can't and never will know everything. But I know to look for someone with common priorities in life. Also, gray hair turns me on lol

I think all women would make that mysterious exception for me!

No. From what I can see in the avatar my middle son looks a great deal like you, hair and all. It's weird enough seeing 'him' every time I come here. No exceptions would be made in my case lol.

I think you protest too much about your masculinity; it must be tied into the hair, ala Samson.

I'll have you know that this is all just a clever disguise that eludes to my true masculine prowess.

Hypothetically you meet someone who is the bull to your whip ( I know it was corny but Im sure you get the point) , yet theyre younger than you. Do you put your superficiality aside or are your preferences your preferences.

The thing with me is that I'm looking for the long term, the very long term.

So, anyone younger is fine for that.

Say she's 60, then I could derive a lot of pleasure from dominating a 60 year old woman with the right mindset, no questions asked. The problem comes when I'm 50 and she's 75, which wouldn't be of much use to me.

My advice would be this: forget the age, within reason, we are what we think.

I do actually, I've had to fend off modeling offers for him ever since he was young. I figured that was all  he needed was to know he could make money from his looks. Beautiful is the best adjective to describe him and actually he embraces it...gets more women than he knows what to do with. I've been with him when strangers will come up and ask what hair products he uses. His personality is much like yours as well, lol, except his mom keeps him humble when he steps over the line.

This is related to the OP: Ever since he was 15 I've had older women come up to me to tell me how much they loved his hair, or what nice manners he had, how attractive he was, or whatever. They would just gush and go on and on. It really made me queasy. I know he's cougar-bait amongst other things and they can lust over him in private- please don't do it in front of his mother. If he wanted to go outside of his age range I'd have some things to say to say to him, but in the end really...whatever makes him or anyone else happy. What makes me happy is to have someone from my own age range. If he were to go outside his I'd be ok if I was satisfied that it was truly what he wanted and he'd thought it through.

My mother told me if I ever go for older women she'll kill me.

My father told me to date my age but only if they have a good-looking mother.

It isn't easy being pretty.

I have to weigh in with sexyred, NS. Androgynous looking males don't appear masculine to me. And certainly not dominant. Not to say that there aren't dominant androgynous types out there, but they sure don't do it for me.

Hey, he's good with it. He probably gets more women that way than if he were more masculine. Once I was at the mall and was behind him, didn't know it, thought he was a woman. I told him later and he laughed but was perfectly fine with it. He's got a looooong line of women of all ages waiting to get him so embrace the androgeny NS...for some women it's catnip. God knows I've heard enough from women to know it's true. Don't look at it as talking smack, take it as a compliment

No, age is not an automatic deal breaker for me provided that the party is of the legal age of consent.Age may determine on what level I might choose to involve myself with that person (casual versus not casual) but nobody would be excluded from the pool based on chronology alone.

God forbid if we joined forces.  Do you know how much marriages would be ended, Lizi?  DO YOU?
