I don't mind Kelli, she might not be the most articulate one, but she's pretty clear what she does and what she doesn't do and that she charges.

While I completely agree with "to each his/her own"....I have a very honest question. How do you "supply" ownership to a sub? Sounds like a service, which has me asking; who is owner and who is owned?

Status: offline 		My viewpoint is that this sounds like a thread started by someone with a hidden agenda, which has nothing to do with frank and honest discussion about how to handle slaves.

I do not cater to slaves. If I was catering, I'd be the caterer. Caterers serve. Slaves serve. Slaves cater. I may or may not allow them to pursue their own interests, if they benefit me, or, if their work for me is done for the nonce. However, I remain startlingly uninterested in their fetishes, since the definition of a fetish is what they cannot live without - and I would never accept them if they had to have some bizarre thing done to them just to keep them from falling apart - and/or what they need to cum, which is knowledge I would not welcome them forcing into my life.

I don't use slaves for sex, and, damned straight, they will not attempt to use me for it. If they need sex, they will do it during whatever free time is available to them, or, they will come and ask me to find them a wife or husband with whom to have it. End of story.

Status: offline 		[/sizeI make no bones about the fact i have a very strong gag fetish...it is what it is....with that said,i think it is important to talk about it.The whole idea is to serve that is true and serve without reservation,but if some think they can go without even as much as addressing it with a potential sub or slave,i believe that to be a serious mistake.It just makes sense to me that if a sub is happy for having a fetish addressed he would or she would become even more submissive...and isn't that eally the bottom line???

Actually, I've often wondered about just that point. I only had one kink in my late teens; by now I've got a huge collection of them.

What do you imagine that 'more submissive' actually means? What actual behaviours or feelings are you talking about here that would be 'more submissive'?

Statements like yours make me sad. The day I see any part of my sex life as having to 'address' anything will be a miserable, bad, no good day.

Where does "submissiveness" come from? Some magical act that the dominant performs, or something the submissive produces themselves?

I want those serving me to be happy that they are, whether they are a life partner, a playmate, or a servant. Ideally, they want ME to be happy, and we both fulfill our parts in the relationship. I say this quite a bit: D/S RELATIONSHIPS ARE NOT QUID PRO QUO. You can natter on all you like about how both parties are essential, but an essential inequality of role is built into the relationship.

Part of "getting to know you" or "negotiation" or "courtship" is finding out if your kinks and foibles are compatible. I know (for instance) that someone who is a full on crossdresser would not be a good match for me. I also know that there are myriad small things that I enjoy if the other person enjoys them. There are some things that I never think of doing ever, and would have to be asked or reminded. WHY in the name of PG Tips would I use some checklist method of kink fulfillment in order to generate "submission"?
