My newest idea is to sew a little pocket into my dedicated running shirts, in the chest, and then put a hot handz packet in there. I wonder how well that would work for keeping the cold air from affecting my lungs? Combined with a mask, that might take care of the problem.

I've been going to the gym 4-5 times a week since they started a new challenge to complete a 5k on the treadmill.  I've done that repeatedly but lately I've only been doing 1-2 miles.  I hate the treadmill!!!
I've only been doing this 2x's a week since that's the minimum required, the other 3 days I'm in group classes. 

This AM I put on a pair of jeans that have been uncomfortably snug and today they fit very nicely even tho they've been washed/dried.[sm=champ.gif]

I believe that I mentioned that I quit Weight Watchers last month.  I just used it for a few weeks to get my eating habits back on track & it worked.

I've switched from regular peanut butter to that organic crap that has all that oil on top.  I used to hate that mess but I stir it before each use & put it on my bagel in the mornings and it actually tastes very good!  I wouldn't eat it straight from the jar tho[:'(] but that's a good thing!

Ahh the dryer test! I love that -- when newly dry jeans fit really nice. ^_^ That's how you know you're winning. ^.~

Tired as hell. Did my legs and lower back. Was in the gym about 3 hours and burned about 2614 calories.
I decided to see how high I could go in the leg press, squat and deadlift. My max for deadlift was 495#. Leg press was 890#. And squats were 420#.

I want to thank agirl for inspiration - she mentioned that her daughter ought to be able to bike 5 miles - and I finally made it up to that at the gym yesterday. (I usually do 2 miles.) I was at the climatic moment in my book, which helped. I wear earplugs to drown out the gym's music.

My knee hurts today so instead of my lunchtime walk, I'm going to clear out some space in my living room and do yoga.

The first time I saw that video, I just kept critiquing the dancing... =p
Usually when I'm running, I have BLS "Suicide Messiah" playing -- it helps me keep a pretty good pace.

I'm looking for ways to balance out unevenness -- I think I ended up with a stronger left thigh because of dancing with a right lead so much in tribal style -- all the weight is carried by the left leg in a right lead, so, I'm going to start dancing on a left lead more, and get more weight on my right leg.

This morning, I also started doing a "squat" type thing, for just that leg, in addition to the rest of my workout. Will something like this create more problems, rather than resolve them? I imagine it'll be okay, I just want them to be more symmetrical.

I must further say that the new workout video is helping with my pops and articulations, too. ^_^ That thing really is a workout for more than just abs. And it gets my energy up. Hooray!

If youre trying to even out your legs you might try chair lunges. That way you can work each leg individually. And do five extra on the weaker leg until it gets caught up.

That's what I've been doinng; a little extra on the weaker leg.

Today I'm feeling frustrated... just seems like I'm getting nowhere now...
