Good morning, Pots and the rest of you. [:D] Today's schedule has been kinda skewed, because Himself had to go in at the ass-crack of early and open the store, as opposed to working evenings and then closing it like usual - and your OP had to drive Him, because I needed the vehicle to drive our Thing to school later. So, up and out before dawn and a Cajun filet biscuit from Bo Jangles for my breakfast - and then, a couple of hours later, a nap. Now sitting here having my morning sugarless energy drink whilst I seriously consider my Wii and the towels that should go into the laundry and then get hung out on the clothesline to dry in this heat. More to come..

Morning y'all. I believe that today will be an even better day than yesterday. After I eat my breakfast of yogurt, cereal & strawberries, I will get busy mucking this place out. I want to get the table cleared off. Again!! What is it about flat surfaces that attracts *stuff*??

It's rainy & gloomy, but I'm from Seattle & don't melt so I will do my walks. I also have some more shopping to do.

I bought some tortilla chips made from sweet potatoes & some hummus & that makes a very yummy snack. I have to remind myself to eat, as I will get busy & suddenly it's 4pm & I haven't eaten yet. Granted, I didn't get up till noon, but still!!

Breakfast was Grape-nuts with yogurt for me. I'm off to do some shopping today before work.

Ugh...I over-ate by 400 calories yesterday (Grasshopper cookies are ebil [>:]), so I made sure I exercised enough to burn them off. 
 
I am now paying for this with sore muscles.  [sm=injured.gif]  However, I still managed to do a light workout before breakfast and burned 70 calories.  I'm shooting for 30 minutes of exercise a day, totalling 1,000 calories burned per week, and a 1,200 calorie/day diet.  My lifestyle is pretty sedentary, so that's the intake my calorie-counting website recommends for my height (5'3") and age (40).
 
Normally, I don't eat the full 1200, so my body goes into starvation mode and I don't lose weight.  I'm better about making sure I eat enough when I use the calorie counter.  Now if only I was better about remembering to use it.  [&:]

Eats today are not so good...but still not horrible.

My old boxing/krav maga/firearms instructor/photographer called this morning to chat before he leaves for another state for a little while and I talked longer than I should have and I ran out of time to make breakfast and pack food for the day other than to grab a couple protien shakes out of the fridge.

Breakfast was a cup of coffee and a package of instant oatmeal with some protein powder in it.

Workout:

2x: 12 lunges, 12 OH squats, 12 situps, 12 back extensions, 6 pullups, 12 pushups, 12 bench dips

Cleans: 5 minutes of form work with 10# bar. Then two sets of 45# cleans, and one set of 65# cleans. Still not able to pull as much weight as I should be able to, but the shoulder is definitly coming back and that makes me happy.

WOD: AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in 12 minutes of:

10 pullups, 15 second L sit.

I was doing assisted pullups and made it through 2 rounds when Daddy walked in with a very proud and excited thing two who just graduated from kindergarten and wanted to show me all his awards and papers. So of course I sat down with him to go over it all. I went a head and drank my protien shake while he was showing me his stuff. After that we went across the street so daddy could do some grocery shopping. Since I hadn't packed for my work day, Daddy bought me some sushi from the deli, a salad, and a lean cuisine meal for dinner tonight.

I'm back behind the desk at the gym now. One of my co-workers just got arrested so I had to take over his shift. Now we just gotta figure out how to raise bail $ for him.

His bail goes to support the muscular dystrophy association. His wife has MD so its a pretty important cause for him and for all of us who know them.

Between his shift and mine I'm here until 10:30 tonight so I'm really glad Daddy got me something from publix, even if it did have to be processed food. I may try to do some more cardio later on a break.

I admit that I would very much like a job like Ghita's. *nods* Unlimited gym access + hot guys wandering around = *WIN*
I admit that she should consider posting some of this info about what she does for her workouts on The Other Thread, where we um, talk about workouts and stuff *subtle hint. did you see it..?* [;)]

My workout today was my CPR recertification and pounding the crap out of a dummy for what seemed like forever but was really only 3 hours. Oh and I took my dog for an hour walk then let him play at the dog park while I kept dozing off and after I got home, I passed out. Food, I just had leftover pizza. No bueno but I haven't made it to the store yet today. And I might not get there until tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow.
