I did not support Obama nor McCain in 08, but between the two of them, I'd say Obama was the better gamble at the time, as McCain was at least upfront about his blood lust, and infatuation with a nation destroying "offense" budget. The only thing I was hopeful that Obama would do, that could have made me possibly vote for him 2012 was to reduce our military spending substantially. He has not, he is just as bad as Bush, or any neocon in this regard IMO, and there goes your medicaid funds, they are beating those dollars into bullets. So, Obama in his quest to look tough, easily lost some percentage of the vote, IMO, as anyone that is truly against trillion dollar "offense" spending can not vote for Obama this time. He's proven he is for a trillion dollar war machine. So, there is no difference, between a Romney, or most the of the GOP and Obama. And we will not be bringing this economy into any form of balance without heavy military cuts, so, IMO, voting for Obama is the same as voting for 4 more years of record budget deficits, it's voting for eventual heavy cuts in programs the left generally proclaim to support. It's voting for someone that has proven he has no real intent to fix the "offense" budget. Sure, he's made his little promise on Afghanistan, that is like taking a 5 gallon bucket of water and throwing it on a fire. It's a pathetic tiny nothing of an attempt to create an excuse supporters can cling to and say "see, obama is reducing our military presence". Anyway, I won't vote if it's Romney Versus Obama. It would be more productive to eat sand. Essentially, there is 0.1 percent chance Obama will get my vote at this point, it could have been 90%, but he is as war crazy as the next. No thanks.
