What I was saying about lack of factual evidence was in reference to your comment on my intelligence. I'm sure you know that, but prefer to twist words. But I wasn't twisting words, I was again referencing your intelligence, and the fact that you missed that is yet more of that factual evidence you claim I don't have. Once again, your opinion, there are no facts there. quote:
ORIGINAL: Arpig quote:
In answer to your question about where in your post did you mention the concept of altering sexual preferences, you said "people do indeed change in this respect, given an open mind and a touch of education." I did indeed say that, but if you would care to actually read the entire paragraph, you would see that I wasn't referencing sexual preferences, I was referencing biases for or against a gender preference. I am going to consider this yet more factual evidence. You made an implication both about sexual preferences and about my comment. But that is aside from the majority of our debate. You say that "excluding a person for bisexuality is NOT a sexual preference" and that is the essence of the debate. Your declaration is far too broad a statement. You can't know what everyone's sexual preferences are and since you don't, you cannot exclude the fact that there are people who are turned off by bisexuality in a partner. If they are turned off, that is part of their sexual preference. It doesn't speak to their support for or against anyone who sees themselves as being bisexual. It's quite possible to be sexually turned off by that person, but find them quite engaging as a human being in a non-sexual context.
