Tj, I'm well aware of the challenges the eventual Repub nominee will face, and I still think the next election is Obama's to lose, but if it goes that way, anybody in the field could beat him.

Of course the facts that Obama's skin colour is obvious in any image of him, or that he was the first black President in US history, or that his racial heritage was mentioned only several dozen quadrillion times during the campaign are irrelevant. If it's not on his resume on election day it doesn't count. Alas, the looney Right will object (as usual) - they have some issues about his birth, I recall - and that *was* on his resume. Can we get any sillier if we tried .... ?
