Otterswim. You pretty much hit on the head what my view is. It should be hidden as if it's a dirty secret it should be brought out voluntarily acknowledged and spoken about.

And desfip. Dont say what I would do because it shows your ignorance in not reading my posts and it's easy and lacking integrity to put words in my mouth to try and boost your argument. But IF I were a parent who decided I wasn't going to allow my children to associate with other children whether you like it or not that is my right. And yes, if I bieved my child was in an all Catholic group and Jewish children were being persecuted and one came in and existed in the group of catholic children hiding what they are for fear people may persecute them - damn straight as a parent I would want to know. Maybe I wOuld pull them out maybe I wouldn't but it is my right to make that determination when the status quo of institutions description is being altered from the NORMAL belief.

Most people want go speak semantic however, this is NOT what most people eould define as a girl. Sorry folks but if you are honest you know this is true. Because it's not a normal situation and most people know it's a controversial subject, then it stands to reason that the parents should be informed when their child might be thrust into such a situation.

Unfortunately this tg idea is not the norm. You don't have to like it but to me indicating it's not a parents business when their children may indirectly or directly be brought into something that could blow up into controversy, negativity etc all because a lil 7 year old wanted to be in girl scouts when she has boy parts, the parents need to be told.

If you really are interested in what my point is-- it's there in many posts. It's your choice if you are going to try and change that point by putting words I never said as a rebuttal.

If this isnt a bad thing then it shouldn't be hidden and if it's a normal thing then there should be no issue telling the parents.

Angrl

Extra note:  The Denver Post just published an article commemorating the 100th birthday of the Girl Scouts.  It mentions the current controversy in passing.

Note that way back in 1912, they allowed in blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans.  That was pretty much crazy radical stuff back then.  So it's fitting that they continue to be inclusive.
