Simple - if a dom person is looking for a furniture - you can always tell him to go to Homebase :-)

Dom that cannot respect sub and their opinion - well, he doesn't get any respect from me and a lot of other people I know in here.

If a dom just keeps on "bashing" you in the forum, simply put him on ignore - it's a nice feature.

I have a bad habit of interrupting.  My whole family does it.  Master and I are working on it together.  I can learn to wait to speak....

I have been asked to reiterate my inital post - I hope this makes more sense

I would say that I am someone that is slightly self opinionated and I like to be in a position where I can speak my mind, I have found that I have sometimes been reprimanded by Doms because of this. Has anyone else come across this and how do you feel is the best way of dealing with someone that believes women/subs should be seen and not heard?

As a sub you have every right to be as rude, crass, or nasty as you want to be, however you will be ill met. Everyone on the boards, as well as R/L expect a slave to be respectful and eloquent in her manner of speech. That is how his/her servile nature shines through. A slave takes the time to learn etiquette and grace, as do many of the subs here and in R/L, nevertheless when a sub is bratty or smart mouth it isn’t that shocking, it very well may lead to a loss of respect for them, but it is their prerogative. Most experienced Dom/me's have an expectation for a slave to be very personable and state their opinions in such a way that it brings the "mentor" or caring Dom/me out in them.

You will find many Dom/me's here that think being rude is how a Dom/me shows their Domliness, they usually don’t last long. The best practice you can perform is to state your opinions and views in such a way that you draw the "Mentor" or Caring Dom/me to you. You will find that once you have mastered that eloquent verse that any Dom/me or sub/slave that attacks you will be harshly chastised by the "mentor/caring" Dom/me's of the boards.

In R/L you will find it is the same. You present yourself in a respectful, humble, and eloquent way and when confronted with a rude Dom/me other Dom/me's will correct that behavior. As a sub/slave you have a great deal of power, you just need to learn how to use it.

Laugh then hit block and delete. As mentioned they are obviously looking for a doormat not an actual human being.

Oh and just a casual observation, having dealt with you now in both public and private. I've seen no impolite behaviour nor found your posts/mails hard to understand. Others can make of those comments what they will!

feastie -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 12:04:51 PM)

If a dominant does not wish to ever hear your opinion on anything, then I'd suggest avoiding that person.  If you're interrupting to offer your opinion, or not waiting until permission has been granted, then it's on you.

Did your number come up on the counter? If not then it wasn't your turn to talk. LOL

To interject your opinion into a conversation without excusing yourself or being invited into said conversation in certain circles is considered rude. If you act in a rude manner expect a rude response.

OMG lol
this isnt the 1950's and we arent childrent that should be seen and not heard I hate when people think that because we are subs we are less and dont deserve to be treated as equals... grrr

This makes a bit more sense.  i take it you were here on the boards, in chat, or in an IM, with more than one "Dom" who objected to the fact that you have opinions and express them.

W/we call such Men "HNGs" or "horney net guys"; they are not Doms.  Use iggy, block or click off the IM.

I know it's difficult, but you should actually try to read posts. Nowhere in my post did I mention dominants or submissives. I'm talking about people and manners. If you act like a child, you'll be treated as a child. Act like a petulant child and you'll be treated like a petulant child. I hate when people don't actually read a post the way it is written and try to find something aminous in it. Now, if you stay your little fingers and actually read the post, you may actually learn something.

Hmm, a dom reprimanding you for talking? Is he YOUR Dom?? A Dom behaving like that is really close to a Dom trying to control a sub that doesn´t belong to him, it´s just rude, unacceptable and a bit stupid.

Skuggi -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 1:10:10 PM)

It's quite simple - people no matter what their role is - have the right to express themselfs.

I totally must agree with those above regarding that - and also that we don't live in the 50's - it's 21 century now guys.

Tikkiee -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 1:20:20 PM)

I was going to respond with something, but thought better of it. I would like to point out though that MrDiscipline never advocated a 50's lifestyle; only that unless you were part of the conversation to begin with, then you have no business sticking your opinion into it. That, is something that I agree with 100%.

MrDiscipline44 -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 1:27:47 PM)

Thank you, Tikkie!! You understand!! Expression is not a right to be rude. Why are people finding that so difficult?

In this thread i'm not sticking my ass in the air and farting thank you.
I'm responding to a thread that asked for opinion so drop this ...

If someone is going to tell me that I cannot take sides in an open forum and publish my opinion - please step right up!

Oh well, since I refuse to banter with one who see's only that which he wishes to see, I wish you luck

ROFL - I just cannot belive that you can actually go this low in a forum thread.
I'm responding to a question here and you act like a primadonna that basically has to have the last word.
I'm sorry - but I don't respect people who cannot debate - and if a sub like the young lady from UK that started this thread cannot have opinion, who gave you or anybody else permission to try to dominate over what she thinks or feels?
I didn't see either Mr.D or your name marked as her Owners - or is my eyesight failing?

smilezz -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 1:57:14 PM)

"Women should be Obscene and not heard"   G. Marx
(it says so on my profile, honest)  lol

*chucklez*   with that said, i am a very outspoken woman, i am no where near politically correct, i say what comes to mind, and more often than not, i am a pain in the ass doing so.
The only one that tells me to shut my mouth is Thorns.  If He deems that i have overstepped a line, He will tell me so, if He does not like what i post, He will make me change it or re-word it differently.  He's Master, that's all that needs to be said.

Skuggi,

She was not telling you that you did not have a right to an opinion because you were not at the beginning of the thread.

She was instead repeating what Mr Disciple had said earlier in reference to the OP:

Skuggi -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 2:08:42 PM)

Dear Angelface183.

This is not a conversation - this is actually an electronic message board...so whatever Mr. D. thinks - I will disagree.
This is not conversation and this is the internet - if people think that there are the same rules on the internet as in for example scena gathering - then people are getting the wrong ideas about life itself.

I simply gave my opinion to the subject and well - I stick to that :-)
I have respect for people - no matter what gender or preferences.

Saying to people that same rules apply on an open forumboard as in real life - thats for owners of the slaves to deceide.

MrDiscipline44 -> RE: Why is it men don't like women who speak there mind and when we have an opinion (6/3/2006 2:08:48 PM)

skuggie, where is it that I'm trying to dominant the young lady that is the OP? She asked for opinions. I gave mine. No where am I telling her she can't do this or she can't say that?

Now, the other young lady that decided I was taking my post totally out of context, yes, I told her to proverbially shut her yap and pay attention so that she can make a more informed posting on my post.
