ORIGINAL: sexylittleminx I have been asked to reiterate my inital post - I hope this makes more sense I would say that I am someone that is slightly self opinionated and I like to be in a position where I can speak my mind, I have found that I have sometimes been reprimanded by Doms because of this. Has anyone else come across this and how do you feel is the best way of dealing with someone that believes women/subs should be seen and not heard? As a sub you have every right to be as rude, crass, or nasty as you want to be, however you will be ill met. Everyone on the boards, as well as R/L expect a slave to be respectful and eloquent in her manner of speech. That is how his/her servile nature shines through. A slave takes the time to learn etiquette and grace, as do many of the subs here and in R/L, nevertheless when a sub is bratty or smart mouth it isn’t that shocking, it very well may lead to a loss of respect for them, but it is their prerogative. Most experienced Dom/me's have an expectation for a slave to be very personable and state their opinions in such a way that it brings the "mentor" or caring Dom/me out in them. You will find many Dom/me's here that think being rude is how a Dom/me shows their Domliness, they usually don’t last long. The best practice you can perform is to state your opinions and views in such a way that you draw the "Mentor" or Caring Dom/me to you. You will find that once you have mastered that eloquent verse that any Dom/me or sub/slave that attacks you will be harshly chastised by the "mentor/caring" Dom/me's of the boards. In R/L you will find it is the same. You present yourself in a respectful, humble, and eloquent way and when confronted with a rude Dom/me other Dom/me's will correct that behavior. As a sub/slave you have a great deal of power, you just need to learn how to use it.
