World class clown and child-toucher ted nugent is for the most part a tough-talking spineless blow-hard coward but one can hold out hope that he`ll change his ways....just this one time......

"The Secret Service heard the inflammatory remarks that Ted Nugent made about President Obama over the weekend, and it’s looking into the matter.

“We are aware of the comments and we are conducting an appropriate follow-up,” Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told POLITICO.

At an NRA convention in St. Louis on Saturday, Nugent said, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year."

Really? You hope Nugent keeps his promise? You want him to assassinate the President? Really?

That's fucked up.

I'd much rather see him get some sort of penalty/consequence for making irrational and stupid comments. There is no need for talk like that.

The problem is he did NOT actually say anything about killing the president. Does no one know what metaphoric speech is anymore.

Never heard of the word 'Euphemism'? It means to substitute a word, name, or phrase for something that is at offensive or suggestive.

Recall the old tv show "The Newlywed Game" in which contestants would talk about 'making whoopee' when talking about sexual intercourse to circumvent network censorship. They didnt want little kids learning a topic '....until they were older....'.

So yes, he didnt say anything directly, but EVERYONE, understood what he was implying. Well, everyone but you apparently....

This is nothing new from "The Nuge" - he's done stupid before and will again. He's beyond washed-up/has-been/irrelevant. The only problem is that he still has a following among the hard-core rednecks and white supremicists of the world. His rhetoric could be enough to encourage someone to act. But, of course, it wouldn't be Ted's fault. No more than having a bullseye on a map of political districts might give some unstable individual the idea that direct violence is a good idea.

Implied threats against the President are just as illegal as any other threat against the President.

Since he's a piece-of-shit pedophile, no-one bothers to give Nugent the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Isn't the problem more that mouthy idiots with no spine are hiding behind metaphor to try to weasel out of accepting any responsibility they might be stuck with for the shite they're spouting?

You do understand why Nugent would be dead or in jail, right? He was talking about doing something to kill the President. He wasn't talking about going to jail for a DUI or dead from a car accident.

So, you hope he's dead or in jail, which means you are hoping that he attempts to assassinate Obama. Great move, dude.

Ted Nugent Defends Obama Remarks, Refers To Himself As "Black Jew At A Nazi-Klan Rally"

Responding to the firestorm following his remarks over the weekend, Ted Nugent took to Dana Loesch‘s radio show on FM NewsTalk 97.1 to brush off the criticism. Doubling down on his views, Nugent said he stands by his speech. “I’m a black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally,” he said — referring to those in the federal government who “despise” him for his “audacity to speak the truth.”

Actually I do know what a euphemism is and I do know what the man was saying. He has been saying things like this for decades with no action being taken part because of his words. Do you not know enough about the man to know that? I do have to ask though if someone in Mitt's camp says they must chursh the other side with extreme force would you say that person was saying to kill the president and everyone on his team?

So a few years back when I told a friend that someone should take junior, stick him in a cannon, and shoot him into the sun I was theatening the presidents life? Is the issue really what he said or that he said it in a public forum where some (though few) people were listening to him?

Moon, your comment is a great one. As long as you take into account that it covers a lot of people. From Howard Stern to Bill Maher to Rush Limbaugh. We as a people are allowing what the media lets us see control what we think. After all it is such a better idea that we sit around and talk about an old rock star then the fact that there is an ellection coming up and going over points of who is better qualified to hold the position.

"I've never done drugs."--Ted Nugent
"The stakes are high, and so am I. I got me a rock and roll band. It's a free-for-all."--Ted Nugent

Ted's another socon dumbass who only cherishes the rights that apply to his own current lifestyle, but he will say that he was only speaking of his fear of getting in trouble for owning guns. So, was the metaphor careless or Machiavellian?

You committed a felony by the strict letter of the law as did Nugent.
