New users get around two hundred emails within a day or so. So you hit right when all those other wankers are hitting at the same time, trying to take advantage of a new person before they even have their bearings. Then to come off as if you are different when you are acting the same... lol... then come post about it besides in your journal, as if she didn't know how to read or understand you is funny. Funny because she got it and you didn't.

Read the signs.

I had it written a bit poorly. Normally it's a bit clearer. I usually say "I say this because, if you expect me to say 'Bow....'"

So far it's been working for me. Except for the odd times like this. I think I'll start copy and pasting it with it written more clearly.

Yea, that's not any better. How about starting off with "hi" and such, offering yourself up as a person and asking about her as a person in return? Some form of social nicety? You're SAYING you act the gentleman, but you're not doing it. Your opening message jumps straight into a Dom tone, talking down, albeit graciously, to someone beneath you. Not everyone would find offence at such a thing, but that doesn't mean that those who do are wrong in being offended.

There is also the question of what is the type you mean to attract? Because if the kind of person you want is the sort who could take that tone and mannerism and run with it, why bother with what those who clearly aren't the sort think or say of you?

lol - dood your profile is just poorly written wank fodder -Another guy writing with his dick - big fucking whoop dee doo - and no one mentioned anything about consent.

This is exactly why women hate that "new users" button that lights up on the other side.  The landslide of mail that a new female gets on this site is absolutely ridiculous.

The post is kind of funny though, OP.  The problem is that your joke isn't coming off the right way without the proper set up.  Those of us who have read the numerous posts from women giving their opinion of the emails they receive in their first sixty days on the site, or their assessment of people who write them when they have blank profiles, makes the joke so much better.

Actually, this is when we pull out the big strapon and use that new hole well.

Seriously... use this as a lesson. Don't go to... I don't understand why and don't have this problem on the other side. Hear what is being said. Examine yourself, your approach, how you do things, how you word them and take it a bit slower. If you learn from a flamefest, you do well. If you don't... well, you really are proving why you got it. Pay attention, learn something... don't play victim.

If you are having many great conversations then one rejection should not bother you so..

Conversing is one thing, some subs will reply just cuz they are polite.. but if you want to meet people, thats the real test.. how many quality dates have you had?

Without ripping and from a female point of view (and it doesn't matter if sub or domme, essentially we are women), your profile sounds a bit like you're imagining the Story of O coming alive for you but make it sound really awkward and stilted. Now O is BDSM porn and not real life, doesn't work this way...

Don't jump on newbies, they are overwhelmed, don't ask them what they are looking for, that's intrusive, just strike up a conversation like you would do in a pub or a bar, it's going to work much much better for you.

I'm a bibliophile. I read like it's an addiction. Yet, I always find myself skipping over profiles and emails with pasteboard fantasies and wishing afterwards that I hadn't read them. It's not the subject matter that bothers me, it's the thought that I might have been able to take that person more seriously and at face value if I hadn't read it.

Pasteboard fantasies do not in general work on women you've just met or have not met yet. It sends the message that you are largely interested in a marionette actor for your fantasies and they should be so pleased to be told of the audition. Even Dolls want to know that you're into THEM in particular, that not just any warm body would do.

It is my opinion that published fantasies are best accepted when it comes from a person's internal perspective, when the passages lean heavier on how the person in question wishes to feel and experience in the fantasy rather than what they want the generic "you" to do or feel. A cheap cheat is to replace all references of "you" with a third person pronoun.

Other than that, there is nothing untoward or objectionable in your profile per say; but again, as I've said previously, your email approaches are not nearly as respectful or gentlemanly as you'd assumed. A personal message and a profile are different mediums and need to be approached differently. It's hardly accepted social convention to go up to a person in a bar and open with "If you expect me to 'get on your knees' you'll be sorely mistaken." Most people'd just look at you funny and shuffle away.

Excuse me... well... you want an honest answer? She can read your profile without looking at it where you can tell she was there. After I read your email to her and your profile, I found you to be the one with a problem and she had every reason to respond as she did. You assumed much when you emailed her and after a look at your profile... with your ever so enticing... this is what I will do to you... as a gentleman... I don't think you are very gentlemanly.

How did I assume much? What did I assume?

My profile is just a sample, an idea. It's meant to be enticing and has worked well for me. But there is nothing in there that I HAVE to do. For me any play has to be consensual. I'm not going to force anybody to do anything they don't want to do. I don't see how my profile has anything non gentlemanly on it. I do cringe at the hot dog part though.

It's anything but enticing as I read it. It should be in the journal section for creative writings. It says nothing of you as a human. Do you like to dance, watch movies, scuba, hike or visit museums? What can be expected outside of the realm of kink?

Avoid blank profiles, find someone with something written on it that catches your attention & let her know. Click the "view forum posts" to see if she's here on collar chat, too.

Good luck, and all that.

I can't really figure out why you would post on a forum and then not be interested in the discussion, honestly. Regardless, what everyone else is saying: It sounds like erotica / fiction and when someone contacts me with few or no vanilla interests on their profile, I tend to write them off. But a big thing for me, personally, is someone listening to who I am and what I have to say and then being able to ingest and then respond to it in an intelligent, concise and interesting manner.

My two cents, anyway.

If it was working for you, you wouldn't still be copying and pasting it over and over again.

No, one rejection doesn't bother me. Usually if I get a response it will be from a girl that is interested. This was just the total opposite of what I'm used to. Usually a girl will be very open. She might question that I'm a gentleman but that's perfectly fine, and we usually go off and have a great conversation from there.

I'm still somewhat new to this site. I've only been on 3 dates and they went ok. It could've been 4 dates, but I found out the girl was married and I changed my mind on that one.

Well, since you're getting honest opinions from everyone, it seems, I will type what I was going to type:

If you're a gentleman (lady/honest/non-game player/whatever) you don't need to tell people. They will learn for themselves.

Your opening was frought "danger signs" from the beginning. Why mention "submit" on a BDSM website? Everyone knows that's going to be part of a relationship found here.

Why mention what you think a sub has to earn? In an opening e-mail? Really?

Lastly, why are you targetting new, younger, girls. That is another red flag for me.

Peace and comfort,

Michael
