And yes, it has jaded me more than I like. You say there should be a training program. I say there should be a mental health inspection. Maybe both!

...so on the original subject--butting in here, sorry-- My first dom refused to satisfy my masochism. At all. Oh, she'd fulfill her sadistic streak all right, by tickling me, but she refused to hit me even when I begged, and even when I told her I didn't like being tickled. I met one Dom (not from here) who seemed perfectly nice, answered all my questions politely.. We met for lunch and were talking...I mentioned the safety emails I get from my Dom friend..that week's had been about making sure I never played with someone unprepared for something going wrong. I made a joke about not wanting to end up on the 6:00 news as the "soccer mom" firefighter had to cut down... He got all freaked and angry started yelling, if anything went wrong, I COULD NOT call 911...I am too important..I would call my friend's in the city police dept to come "take care of the situation".... I obviously left. Please note, he was not a political figure, community leader, religiigous leader...he was just a regular accountant
