Status: offline 		Well perhaps if you (as in every woman) didn't play with people before you did some kind of investigative work, there would be less horror stories. Women need to keep themselves safe and as far as I know that never happens by blindly trusting strangers.

Your links to other threads in your previous post had three threads from introductions where we are required to be nice or not post. You cannot use them to signify how men and women are treated differently. You can do it, but it won't go far. The fourth... well, that was a number of years ago and didn't get a whole lot of attention. However please note who the posters were. A number of them are professional web site owners or those trying to draw attention to their web sites and they often... I mean really often, cater to things lifestylers wouldn't. I do recall one person that wasn't so encouraging.

I have seen women coming in claiming to be dominant getting eaten. Sometimes it depends on who is around and actually sees the post or thread and sometimes, it all depends on what is said. Someone asking a simple question or a question that is seen as pretty elementary in dominance is going to hear a lot of things when they make claims to being someone they clearly aren't. Whether we define things differently or not, they haven't a clue even in vanilla-land on the inner workings of a relationship or finding someone. Anyway... some get eaten or don't get eaten, no matter what they title themselves and are asking or saying. People tend to interact the way they do... but I don't see a huge discrepancy between gender and how people are treated. I didn't say there is none as there can be. I said, a huge discrepancy... which seems to be what you were implying on a previous post and trying to prove with the links you posted.

Do you think then that bottoms everywhere should automatically submit to someone because they are Masters?

If someone with zero experience wants to call themselves a master OR a slave, well good luck to them. Reality will bite them in the snoot or it won't. Same with those masochists who have never felt a cane strike, or the ones who want to be raped with a giant dildo.

OP, your dog avi is gorgeous! Get out and meet ALL kinds of pervy people. There is much to be said for social networking. Keep your ears and eyes open, and your mouth shut unless it's to ask a respectful question. Don't judge what you see until you develop some discernment.

In fact when I see it I tend to think ... okay. But I just get my feathers ruffled when people jump on them and say shit like "You are not a Master. This is a sacred title"

Still, if one person wants to call another "master" that's between them. They only need to please one another. I dearly wish the chest thumpers would suit the fuck up and quit making empty claims, but that's the way things are now.

It is up to the individual following to decide if they are worthy of that title or not. Even if someone has a cap does not, IMO, mean that i owe them my obedience. Most likely if he or she has earned a cap then they are likely someone who will get that respect by being who they are not because they got a cap gifted to them by the community.
