The Tea Party favorite is really pulling 'em in

One sign of Ryan’s impact on Romney campaign: Big crowds

MOORESVILLE, N.C.—The full measure of Paul Ryan's political impact on the 2012 race is still yet to be determined, but Mitt Romney's new running mate is already helping the presumptive GOP nominee attract some of the biggest crowds of his campaign to date.

Well, yeah, but if you take away all the idle gawkers and Hate Watch monitors, who is left?

Someone better at research than I could probably go back 4 years and find a few threads, started by you,in which you extol the size of the crowds at Palin rallies
So very fucking predictable.....lol

No way. The campaign officials crammed 1300 people including a 74 year old man, into a packed room in North Carolina in the middle of summer, with no air conditioning, and had them wait? And the doofuses think they're capable of running a country? Hell, they're lucky nobody died of heatstroke.

sub2becollared -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/12/2012 6:57:16 PM)

1300 people....all at once?...Damn, that's insurmountable!....[8D]....

If that's the bump, we get four more years of Tom, verbally abusing the President....I think I can handle it!

You really think Dem campaigns have never had glitches Steven [:D]

Regardless, the Dems are in luck. Team Obama wont have to worry about dealing with larger than expected crowds any time soon, according to reports

LOL!

THAT'S 10,000 people? I've played concerts to larger crowds than that several times.

Sanity -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/12/2012 9:10:17 PM)

Sure you did... LOL

If there were any truth to that Obama could really use your help...

Over 10,000 greet Romney/Ryan in High Point, NC...

Nice job with that other thread

DomKen -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/12/2012 9:17:19 PM)

Romney draws 10k? in NC? Why is Romney even campaigning in the Old South? Oh that's right he's such a terrible candidate he's let Virginia and the Carolinas get into play.

Let me know when he starts making inroads in states that shouldn't already be in his column.

What's so hard to believe about that? I was talking to a musician who has a band called Abbey Rhode. And probably has a range of loosely knit fans mostly in the SE Mass & RI areas and their upcoming end of summer show will EASILY draw 15 - 20k people. And they're charging admission. So 10k with robocalls and staffers hyping phones off the hooks? 10k isn't really impressive. Both of em put together will have a tough time anywhere in the northeast drawing more than 1000 outside NYC ... where you can get bigger crowds than for a three card monty game.

Sanity -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/12/2012 9:26:55 PM)

Maybe you and Abbey Rhode had better go try and pull in a few more people for Obama too then LOL

Sounds as though he is needing all the help he can get
