The big worry expressed in a new email from Obama's Chicago HQ: "The Republican base is energized." The reason: Romney attracted 15,000 at a rally over the weekend.

The email:

Paul --

I just got this disturbing report: Yesterday's Romney-Ryan rally in North Carolina pulled in an overflow crowd of 15,000 people.

There's no spinning that number. It's a LOT of people, and the Republican base in energized.

And that's not all. Since the VP announcement, Romney's campaign has brought in over 70,000 donations from his Tea Party base.

We've got to step up our game and mobilize our supporters -- starting right now.

Donate $3 or right now to help us rally our base around President Obama's agenda >>

Listen to what one Republican supporter said about Paul Ryan: "I love him...He's going to excite the Tea Party and get them on board..."

We can't let the Republicans claim the momentum. Donate $3 or whatever you can:

Sounds as though he is needing all the help he can get

I was responding to you calling Muse a liar about his having played bigger crowds than the one in the picture.

Of the 7 Northeast states, THE ONLY State Romney had a PRAYER iin was NH ... and you can kiss that goodbye after they Ryan reactions they were showing on the news up here. I hope he didn't NEED New Hampshire.

What hate and what anger?

Mitten`s needs a set of balls.

I stated, publicly that Gov. Romney had won my vote when he vowed to gut Obamacrap ... oooops! Obamacare. My bad.

However, that statement could be detrimental. It could be spun to infer that Chicago voters would approve of hate and anger, etc. and we don't want to piss off Illinois.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Yeah, I wouldn't characterize: "It's Bush's fault" as whining and crying that's more like ... No, it is whining and crying.

Poor Pretender Ofailure hasn't gotten around to the best campaign strategy he could possibly have (and I think it would work): "Yes, I was over-whelmed and ill prepared for what the true state of this nation was when I was elected but, now I have a new plan ..."

It's a head fake to contrition with a plea for sympathy. The lefties would eat it up.

Peace and comfort,

Oh...I see you`re confused....allow me to help....

Folks don`t blame the doctors who`re treating the gunshot victim.....

They blame the shooter........

The shooter pretending that no one knows who they are and what they`ve done, is very much like the narcissism and callousness and cluelessness the GOP exemplifies.

Thanks again for the opportunity to point out why no one but the lunatic fringe blames the president for bush`s great recession.

They sue the shit outta the doctor, when he doesn't have the correct surgical instruments (or knowledge) to save the gunshot victim.

On the topic of "knowledge", if the doctor doesn't have the requisite documentation (medical license), he goes to jail; for practicing medicine without a license. Ofailure didn't show us his medical diploma and some of us were too busy drinking the kool-aide to ask to see it.

He sold us a bill of goods, telling us how bad things were and he was going to fix it all and he's done no such thing except ring his hands and whine about how it's someone else's fault.

I thought leadership was about responsibility? Wait! It is and the current failure-in-chief has shirked his.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Just because a medical doctor has the knowledge and tools to handle a gunshot wound, there is only so much one can do depending on the wound. A large round at point blank range to the head, and it takes five minutes to reach the ER....

...Your going to sue the doctor?

If he doesnt have the correct and legal paperwork, is not not a medical doctor....duh! President Obama doesnt have a medical degree because he practices....LAW. Hence why he graduated magna cum laude with a J.D. from Harvard! He is not the one performing surgeries or dispensing medical advise. Intelligent and educated folks know this; apparently your neither.

He didnt sell us anything! Things were bad at the time, and it was reassuring that the current President was aware of things unlike the one we just removed from office. The President has done quite a bit to help the nation out (too many to list here). Maybe if you actually looked at things objectively rather than subjectively, you might start learning useful things. I know, I have a better shot at winning the Powerball Jackpot that you are of learning something useful....

And the truth: it WAS, someone else's fault. Depends on the exact subject matter, but former President G. W. Bush didnt do such a good job on the domestic front. While he was off playing 'War President' in the Iraq/Afghanistan sandboxes he forgot to do his job here.

Yeah, how about you start, and show your a responsible adult and citizen. Leadership is about getting others to do something they may not wish to do, but are inspired by the leader to under take. Which is why the ARRA not only passed Congress but actually really helped the nation. Passing the ACA with a group of people that tried to do anything and everything to undermine it. And since it was passed, tens if not hundreds of Americans are now benefiting from it (like you).

From your link:

Biden’s gaffes underline his real-guy persona, something that helps voters relate to the vice president and to Obama by extension.

On Tuesday, former Rep. Tom Perriello introduced Biden as a “tried and true champion of the middle class,” something that he said came through during Biden’s speech.

The speech, Perriello said, helped draw the stark contrast in the presidential race.

“You really have a chance to contrast a guy who understands the working class…and another guy that believes this is another time to raise taxes,” Perriello, said in an interview.

Asked about his performance, he added, “Did he look like he was missing a step at all? There were a few times when I thought he was going to bust right through the podium.”

Obviously when you have Republican nominees hold rallies in traditional red states there gonna pull big numbers. Nothing to be worried about cause Romney is such a douche he thinks Ryan is the one running for President.

Sanity -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/15/2012 12:39:30 PM)

In reality however, Biden hates being cast as a working class joe
