"Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan scores the lowest initial ratings from Americans of any vice presidential pick since the controversial choice of Dan Quayle nearly a quarter-century ago, a weekend USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds."

Yep Ol' Mit takes the high road, just like he did against Newt Gingrich,

“Speaker Gingrich has also been a leader,” the former Massachusetts governor said. “He was a leader for four years as speaker of the House. And at the end of four years, it was proven that he was a failed leader and he had to resign in disgrace. I don’t know whether you knew that, he actually resigned after four years, in disgrace.”

That is a member of Romney's party...

I'm certain those of us who were in Fla. durring the primary are presumed to forget his commercials.

"I’m sure I can go out and say, hey, please don’t do anything negative,” Romney told Fox News. “But you know, this is politics and if you can’t stand the heat in this little kitchen, wait until the Obama Hell’s kitchen turns up the heat.”

Yep, Mitt, can't stand the heat....go to the Caymens and count your money!...The heat is coming!

mnottertail -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/17/2012 9:40:05 AM)

I remember a republican vice president admitted that the republican party was racist according to Barry Goldwater, republican.  I remember that.

Owner59 -> RE: Ryan Draws Big Crowds (8/17/2012 10:37:49 AM)

As per usual with the whinny Mittens,he offers no examples of this anger and hate......just makes up a charge.....

But no ones sees discussing Romeny record as hateful or angry(cept Mitt and his dupes[:D]).Fucking ridiculous...and what a pussy would say.

I understand that Mittens isn`t liking this look as his affairs.......probably thinks he`s going through hell.

We,the American people are only discussing some uncomfortable truths about Mitt and to him,it seems like hell.

Now Mark... Do you really think that's fair? All RomneyHood is asking is simply the The Presidemt and THE AMERICAN PEOPLE to stop unfairly asking to see whether he paid taxes, used his wealth to bet against the american Homeowner, cry for his poor neo-robber baron wife cause she got sick (and could afford care 40% of americans can't get anywhere near prior to The ACA), and accept RomneyHood as your personal savior (Jesus got outsourced and you get an Indian fellow when you pray anyway... seems Chriswt wasn't nearly as cost-efficient), and ignore his vulture-like crony capitalist behavior .. so he can run on his record as a business man, and continue his attacks carte blanche on anything and everything about Obama.
To quote Harvey Fierstein ... "Is That So WRONG"?

Paul Ryan makes personal appeal to Florida seniors on Medicare

THE VILLAGES, Fla. -- Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan wrapped his first solo tour as Mitt Romney's running mate at the famous retirement community here Saturday, taking his message of Medicare reform to seniors in a crucial swing state.

Standing between two signs that read "Protect and Strengthen Medicare," Ryan made the most personal case for overhauling Medicare yet during his time on the campaign trail. With his mother, 78-year-old Betty Ryan Douglas, standing near him on the stage, Ryan discussed how the Medicare program has played a role in his own family's life...

True. That seems to suggest that your thread is meaningless.

No offense meant but I find that logic to be somewhat convoluted

None taken. Since we seem to agree that both parties can draw crowds--along with Madonna, Bello, and Shamu the killer whale, to name just a few others that come to mind--Ryan's ability to do so doesn't seem particularly significant.

You dont think popularity matters in elections?

The one's in the crowd are already voting for Romney/Ryan, it's all those OTHERS they need to worry about.

Even Mondale could draw a crowd of believers, I wouldn't put much stock into the numbers at a rally of the faithfull.

If there's a head count, the 14,000 plus at the Schott in Columbus must mean that Obama will win?

Better yet, they once got over 60,000 to watch Pro Wrestling, and that is as fake as Mitt's smile meeting the ones in the crowd who don't give money.
