Now you are getting it.

You came across as a bit dense for a man.

Very different, not only from a personal pov, but from a medical one.

Not sure I can label myself true pro life since I dont see what the big deal is with abortifacient birth control or the pills they give in the ER to rape victims to prevent a fertilized egg from implanting. Despite what an idiot senator hopeful said pregnancy can result even in any type of rape. I have friend that was thrown out of her house at 16 years old because if she was really raped she would not have gotten pregnant.

But the abortion debate is a bit emotional for me right now since I am almost 4 months pregnant. Of course I am already emotional but hearing about ways they perform late term abortions just upsets me these days. I am far more against late term abortions then early. There is never any reason to abort a viable baby. If at that point the child is no longer wanted there are thousands who are desperate to adopt. When I had my first OB appt at 8 weeks I was asked if I wanted the testing to check for downs and several other major birth defects. They are very effective at finding those in very early pregnancy these days for those who do not want a special needs child.

I am assuming the OP was about organ transplant? The difference in that is that is either the person who died had a donor card or the family gives consent.

Or Stem cell research. That is one I will honestly say I am not sure about. On one hand I do not think we should be creating embryos simply to destroy them but there are thousands of frozen embryos that will be destroyed. I guess I will have to say I really do not have an opinion.

Wasted Organ

All the hopes that person had when they checked that little box on their driver's license ...

DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE, read the article. It had nothing to do with drivers license and dead folk. Pure incompetence on this one.

You may want to find out just what a live donor is.

No, I was making the point that the donor wished to give the gift of life and it turns out that the organ became unusable because of a nurse's incompetence.

I took a bit of heat for being anti-organ donotation, earlier on in the thread.

Peace and comfort,

Michael
