The thing to always keep in mind about dominants, subs, switches, male, female whatever, is that they all are just regular people. Any one of them that tries to convince you otherwise is a delusional turd.

So, your question boils down to asking how a man views a naked woman. Are all men the same? I doubt that. Your question seems to imply that you have insecurities about yourself, and you hope that a relationship with a dominant will somehow make it easier for you to deal with that. If I'm way off the mark, feel free to correct me.

Oh fucking Christ... here goes, just for you LadyHib.

In a relationship, any relationship, D/s or otherwise, the person you are with are more than their form. The more you feel for them, the less the physical means... I have known women I thought were physically beautiful until I got to know them and eventually they became nauseating to look at. Just as anyone I have been with becomes more beautiful the more that I feel for them... It is relative. By the end of a relationship, they are all unappealing.

Nobody is perfect, period. Everyone has flaws, real or perceived, most people have issues about how they look, I don't give a damn how attractive they might be, she'll tell you how her nose is too big, her lips are a bit off, her eyes are too far apart, blemishes, faults, differences, etc. Granted there are some people that I personally just do not find attractive, just as some people look at me and wince. Still, overall, most people just look like people...

As for scars, imperfections, etc... that has more to do with how you see yourself. I was with someone for a short period of time in my twenties who had a scar that ran from just under her collarbone down her abdomen and ended right above her pubes, it was huge, red, obvious... and didn't mean a good goddamn to me then. Still appreciated her naked. There were other issues and it didn't last long but her scar was not one of them.

So even if I'm not comfortable with my own body, it's more amusing to think about what they are thinking about.

I don't think it's a bad question to ask, and I think answers could very well be different for a D/s relationship compared to a relationship of any type. Of course, someone we care about is more attractive to us, and someone we don't like is less so. But specifically D/s related...sure, I think there could be reasons.

Though I'm not a dominant myself, I know from talking with some that a submissive in the nude is that submissive being exposed - and not just physically. I do think that the dominant mind - specifically that of someone who has a relationship with the submissive - is, indeed, looking for flaws and imperfections, because those are now his imperfections as well. That doesn't mean he's casting a critical eye. Just an inquisitive one - to be knowledgeable about the body that is given to him. Perhaps someone can correct me if I'm way off base. (And, of course, it doesn't apply to everyone, blah blah blah insert disclaimer here.)

I doubt anyone could give you a standard reply.

If I see someone naked, my reaction depends on whether I am with them, into them, or if I see a random naked person.

It varies. That is your answer.

If I am a dominant male with a naked female exposed in front of me, I will admire the view if she is not MY sub or slave, and nod my thanks to her master or mistress if she has one and they are present. I can't speak for him but being this is something I was insecure with before my liposuction, I would try to wear at least a robe to hide myself because I hated my shape. But he does like me nude and when I start being insecure again, he says something along the lines that he likes my body and being his slave, I have no right to be insecure about his property. He feels I am abusing his property when I do that. I'm still struggling with that to a point but it's getting easier.

Since my surgery though I've become more secure with myself except on days when I feel swollen but he knows I have days of swelling and it's not a big deal. He likes my flaws, dimples, birth marks, because it's what makes me who I am.

Oh, and he likes the scars, marks and bruises on my body that are done by him. He's pretty proud of those marks, kinda like marking territory. He's not that thrilled with my bruises and cuts though when I'm being a klutz though lol. He will usually just snicker and tease about not destroying his property. [8D]

ETA: I was just thinking how I've become more secure with my body lately and it seems to rub off on him lately and he seems to notice my security now and this makes him happier with me. When I was insecure it was more of a problem for him to do things with me because I was not happy and those emotions tend to rub off on your partner I think.
