For me the sub being nude is a requirement whenever we are together privately and I particularly enjoy how it makes her feel vulnerable and sometimes humiliated if she is particularly body conscious when I remain fully clothed. It is just one more way to instill the dynamic of the sub's role in the Dom's presence. It's actually a method employed often by the military with POWs without, necessarily, the sexual connotation but creates the feelings of vulnerability and humiliation.

Part of it is domination and control. A nude female is at a disadvantage and has to feel vulnerable. That is not all there is to it, but it's a good start.

It causes a noticeable difference between them and anyone else in the room. Clear separations effect a primitive part of the brain, which is why nudity can be useful in training. It doesn't work on everyone, but it can be darn effective on the right people.

Usually it is far more effective on those individuals who are part of more conservative cultures. Or colder ones. They tend to not be used to being unclothed, which makes the lack of clothing felt far more strongly. Nudity, besides playing on modesty, also plays upon fears of rejection. If one is insecure in one's body, then showing it off, without any way to artificially enhance it the way most clothes are designed to do, can be daunting.

I love being naked. Im naked right now - and yes there is someone else in the room and he's half dressed. I could give a shit - vunerable is the LAST thing I feel. It weirds me out that someone would feel that way.

Anyone who is ashamed to be naked in front of someone willingly - should get their head examined.

I like this question. I never really thought about it what exactly is the master looking at. I just enjoy standing naked infront of him letting him inspect his property. Thanks for the questions, good insight. I had alot body insecurities but my xdom if there was one good he did, he made me feel beautiful naked always.

I mean, surely anyone whose kept up with the real world knows that many women are self-conscious about their body. Great for you if you're a likely rare exception but you must have some small inkling that other women you know just might feel differently?

They should get their head examined? LOL. This vulnerability people feel is the norm, not the other way around. Its great that you feel so comfortable in your own skin. But for those of us who feel that " Will they like me" factor, thats a pretty insulting remark. Blah, but its to be expected.

Yes, I think so too. The moment you know those feelings of inadequacy are unfounded and you are accepted, its like a burden being lifted.
I have always felt like this too, I wonder if anyone else has. Being to good looking isnt always a blessing, it can be a curse in ways. What I mean is, alot of times people they never see who you are on the inside, all very superficial. Its kinda like being rich and not knowing who your real friend is cause everyone wants to be your friend!

Oh ok gotcha. I like the after feeling, the I FEEL SO NAKED PART is the worst for me. Just shows how different everyone processes things.

The funny thing is, I am very comfortable in my naked skin and I love being naked.

But, the reason why I like being naked infront of my dom and I love it when the dom keeps his clothes on, is the whole dominance and humiliating factor to it. That I'm naked and expose, while his protected. I dunno, the whole thing is erotic, I don't really feel vulnerable, but I know it's suppose to make me feel vulnerable and I try to role play the whole vulnerability thing, the whole dynamic is amazing and arousing.

In a way, I would feel less comfortable with a fully naked dom. I want him to do something to signify that his not my equal. And keeping clothes on does that very well, when I am allowed nothing to cover myself up.

Well - I guess its because I have pretty good self-esteem. I eat healthy and work out and do what I need to do so Im happy with the visual.
When Im with someone new - my thought process is: lucky motherfucker, look what you get.

If someone is uncomfortable with whats going on with their bod - and its in their control to fix whatever is bugging them - then I dont have a lot of sympathy for the "I am embarrassed about my physical self".

If Im all worried about the way I would appear in front of someone else, then chances are - I wouldnt be there in the first place.

See, I'm not insecure or embarrassed - I just...feel better about the world with a pair of knickers on. That's true no matter who's in the room. I'll quite happily wander around with just knickers on, but there MUST BE KNICKERS.

Many years back, I had a sub with considerable previous lifestyle experience. When it came to stripping naked first time with me, she just..... did it. Then stood there awaiting the next instruction.

Gotta say, I was somewhat disappointed. Not with her or her body, but with how easy it all was for her to do. I may as well have been asking her to pass the remote...! Kinda felt I was robbed - which I explained in my previous posts, here. IE, I savour her modesty and reluctance etc, while still doing as she's told.

Thankfully, it seems it's not just me here; that to be naked and vulnerable isn't just about the physical act. Which is why I drag those first few times out for her. I know what a naked woman looks like and I'm not expecting too many surprises in that department. But getting her there when she's a little uncomfortable with it, and keeping her there for the same reason - these are memorable moments; the "little things" that you never forget.
