That is a lie. The ambassador died of smoke inhalation and was taken directly to the nearby hospital when discovered. His body was never in the hand of the attackers.

Is Arturas seriously suggesting that unless the US stops people defrauding the welfare system then it will "collapse"? Is this ridiculous or hilarious? .... or both?

The nation that survived World Wars I & II, 9/11 Bush the Dumber, the most powerful richest nation in the history of the world is going to "collapse" because a few people with MS are playing the system? Puhleeeeeaaasssseeeee! If it's this easy to cause the collapse of the USA, better ensure no one tells Al Quada!

Does this constitute a National Security Emergency? Why isn't Homeland Security onto this? Perhaps Arturas is talking about a different USA to the one I know, which is the one located on the North American continent between Canada and Mexico ....

Perhaps he's talking about a USA that only exists in his head and imagination. Creating imaginary alarmist threats and discussing them in hyperbolic doomsday language is a constant feature of Right wing discourse everywhere.

As someone who has undergone that process they start sending you SSI immediately and they process your documents quickly but it is still 3 to 6 months to get approved for SSD for something that can be diagnosed with a simple blood test.

Ken that was not my experience,for one thing you can not apply till you have been out of work for 6 months...and than the pro forma(at least that is how my lawyer described it to me) denial followed by a hearing months and months after.
By the time I got my first check it was for 2 and a half years back pay.
If your experience was more streamlined ,good for you...but I'm scratching my head wondering why mine was so different ?

Well, it seems like he thinks that 47% of Americans fraudulantly live off of welfare. If that were really the case we might actually be in trouble!

Under Romneys definition you are a double leech. Once cause you are a blood sucking public employee and twice cause you don't pay INCOME taxes which makes you in the 47%.

Now how about if you pay payroll taxes but not federal income tax? Are those people a leech or not?

And then, how about if you get it deducted every check and then get it all back in May because of dependent child deductions, like many families? A middle-class married couple with two kids that earns $45k pays no federal income tax. Are they leeches?
