OsideGirl -> Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 10:02:47 AM)

I'm bi. Actually, Master describes me as a lesbian with heterosexual tendencies because I'm geared more towards women than men. I have had female/female relationships.

That said: I keep talking to women that say they're bi, but really the only time they would engage with another female is when directed by the male in their relationship. Personally, I really don't consider that bisexual, more hetero-flexible. I've actually had better luck with lesbians that tolerate the fact that I'm in a heterosexual marriage.

Master says that many list themselves as bisexual because men think it's hot and some women use that as a marketing tool.

What do you think?

I think you hit the nail on the head.

I think that if someone says theyre bi, thats them. You and your Master's definitions, or feelings about it dont matter to anyone but the two of you. The way I consider myself bi isnt important to anyone but me.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 10:09:36 AM)

I agree with you, OsideGirl. Being open to doing things to please someone else is not the same as being that way for yourself. Also, TO ME, it takes more than sex to make you attracted to the opposite sex. Would you engage in a RELATIONSHIP with the same gender? Or just kill some hot times?

LadyPact -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 10:16:18 AM)

I think your Master is probably right, Oside. I think any chick with half a brain knows that guys get a little extra interest in any chick that's willing to engage on girl on girl action.

However, I don't especially think everyone who calls themselves bi is intentionally trying to deceive folks. There are a lot of people out there who don't consider hetero-flexible a term and just figure if they have participated in certain acts, the description for that is bi.

needlesandpins -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 10:18:04 AM)

it's because if they say they are really straight, but will dabble, they get slated for it. i would say that from the discussion in the thread about guys that say they are straight, but will suck cock, you can't win.

whatever you say you are there is always someone to tell you that you are not.

"flexible" is a good word to ascribe in these situations, unless the persoin applying the label to themselves is absolutely sure of thier own fitting to the label.

I apply 'flexible' to myself, and we have plans for play that will for this flexibility.
I could not discribe myself as bi-sexual, as I do not find men attractive, and would not be able to consider a male/male relationship.

In applting a "flexible" label to myself (as a male) the only thing I have concerns for is my bottom.

everything else is gravey.

So that's my opinion as a chap, but labeling (IMO) is so 'flexible' of itself and open to interpretation -particulalry in 'scenes' such as this- the a continuum should be accepted for male or female, and where someone stands/sits/squats/kneels on it is thier place to state.

No-one elses.

I'd say your Master is absolutely correct. It's more with the girls who are very young...18-25. It started I think with the whole "Girls Gone Wild" vids...girls all kissing each other on the dance floor while drunk, to get the boys to fuck em because it was so hot to them.

Yup, he's right. And no I don't think of them as bi. In bdsm I call them forced bi and in the vanilla world I just call them drunk.

ETA: I'm extremely straight, I've done the forced bi thing with the ex Dom but if Master wants me to be with a woman then I would. So yeah, I'm a forced bi the moment he decides that's what he wants.

AthenaSurrenders -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 10:52:57 AM)

I think female sexuality tends to be a bit more fluid than male sexuality in general, so I think there are lots of women who are attracted to both genders but not to an equal extent or not in all situations.

I suppose I'm kind of the opposite to what you describe. My only other serious relationship was with another girl, we were together about 18 months and yet I still consider myself straight.

At the end of the day they are just words and people just pick the one that feels closest to what they are. That said I have met some females, mostly during high school and university, who quite deliberately did what you said - they were bi as a marketing tool. They admitted this, so it's not me being judgmental.

LaTigresse -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 10:59:47 AM)

I can only speak from my own experience.

Nearly every woman that I've considered for any sort of relationship other than friendship, that identified as bi......has leaned more towards the hetro, but given the right amount of booze, "I am bi". Most have no interest in any sort of relationship other than 'fuck buddies'. They still want the safety of a 'regular relationship' with a little something something on the side. I am NOT a little something something on the side.

So I tend to avoid the whole lot.

Yeeaahhh...soooo not true. Anytime I've been drunk I get more heterosexual, meaning sex with a man gets better and better looking.

I can promise you that one isn't true.

AthenaSurrenders -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 11:29:13 AM)

I'm a lightweight. The only thing that increases in likelihood with the amount of alcohol is me going to sleep.

True, but I have to say that I certainly haven't seen it. I see far more chicks that will interact with other chicks for the purpose of getting guys turned on.

And, for what it's worth, I think I have a different definition of bi than some do. I don't base it on the "relationship" hinge. I base it on independent (meaning no other influence) sexual attraction and sexual engagement with both genders.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 11:57:16 AM)

Yes, the attraction has to be self motivated, not to show off, please, or attract some third party.

There actually are heterosexual women.

ARIES83 -> RE: Bisexual submissive women (10/1/2012 12:01:49 PM)

Haha I see a lot of denial! [8D]

Well probably most of my girlfriends and friends
fit what I said.

I wonder how many of you straight girls have had
more than one Les experience... [;)]
