This is what I find real scary and it's two things that really separate these two from each other IMO.

Now Romney last night had a sparkle in his eye and a certain glee when describing his i.e. support of drones (along with Obama) and, and here is a major problem I see with Romney, I sensed a certain salivation at his having HIS finger on the button (including domestically).

In this respect both of them are very dangerous but for entirely different reasons.

He wasn't for the bailout. He was for allowing the car companies to go through bankruptcy, and to give them backing when they emerged. That certainly isn't what happened, now, is it?

Of course not,when I buy a car I want to know that the company will be there to stand behind their product,to live uo to all agreed upon guarantees and such .
What good is a warranty if you fear the solvency of the company.
Bankruptcy would have been the effective end of the car makers.....not a step towards solvency as Romney suggests,you and he are engaging in mental masturbation when you assert otherwise.

how is taking a bailout any different??? If a corp has to take a bailout then they are in no better (& imo likely much worse) situation than a corp going into bankruptcy & reorganizing their debt.. Taking a bailout tells consumers that the corp is almost outta business (or why would they need it in the first place)..The only thing a corp learns from a bailout is that they dont really need to fix the real problems in their corp since they are "too big to fail" & the govt will keep bailing em out.. And at least with bankruptcy they are forced to fix what ails them to create a much stronger corp..

If I recall correctly, I think it was Ford that refused to accept bailout money.. not that they werent hurting just as much as the other corps,.. just they found a different way to become stronger rather than one of the corp welfare bums (and weaker).. shouldnt that be what companies strive for? and who American citizens/consumers should support when buying a new vehicle?

Thanks Lucy,dammit but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.I'm on a low dosage pain management regimen of 5mg methadone for my back issues.
The surgeon,and I agreed, he didn't want to prescribe additional pain meds.....and I can't/won't increase the dosage of the methadone(highly addictive) so I'm stuck here with pain levels thru the roof.
Hard for me to read,hard for me to keep my thoughts in order .....I just keep telling myself that this too shall pass,the pain will recede....but I sure wish it would hurry it's damm self up....lol
