ORIGINAL: Lucylastic No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done. Lucy, please don't get mad at me and stop using those amazing ass shots for your avatars. I love them. We both understand the art of leaving a statement ambiguous for future utilization. It is my opinion that the above statement was a carefully constructed proclamation that could be utilized in either direction as future events would unfold. To that point, I don’t believe that the final card over Benghazi has even been played; I suspect that the culprits of this act will be, or at least were going to be political cannon fodder within the next two weeks. Had Romney bit on Obama’s desire to make the Benghazi act a bigger issue that defines presidential leadership, Obama would have been able to simply use the capture or killing of the terrorists as a rally cry. Damn that Romney for not cooperating and taking the bate. Now, I could be wrong about all this; hell some of you might even want to toss me a roll of tinfoil, but politics and chess are the world’s two most cerebral contests.
