May the best man win but seriously who is that?

The information above is a little understated as I was coming up with it from memory and I didn't want to exaggerate. At this point republican early turnout is up by 98,000 and dems early turnout is down by 165,000 which is a deficit for Obama of 263,000. He won the state by 262,000 in 2008 so in effect his previous victory margin is wiped out.

And my problem with this is that only Rove is making these claims.

I'm sure his statistics were gathered from the state of Ohio. Maybe he's a liar and he made it all up. I wouldn't expect to see it reported on PMSNBC or any of the other liberal networks............uh.......I mean all the other networks.

I'm not going to believe anything until Tuesday.

mnottertail -> RE: Polls and Presidential Predictions 2012 (11/3/2012 7:00:17 AM)

Why not?   Numbers are numbers.  Any of the real networks are reporting what they know, good or bad.

here is a counterpoint:

Meh. And cannot find one from Willard's boys, strangely silent on the actual stuff.  He is trying to pump Minnesota which is a state he has no shot at, since he had that dumbass Pawlenty stumping for him here......he don't get it, he is cooked here, long time ago.

I don't believe they're reporting much on Obamas fuck up in Benghazi.

mnottertail -> RE: Polls and Presidential Predictions 2012 (11/3/2012 7:13:31 AM)

And that would be?  Cuz last I heard, from reputable and credible sources (which pretty much leaves you folks out that are slobbering about this) is it went pretty much like it had to.

I have no way of knowing if he is a liar on this topic. He doesnt offer up his sources either.

flyhumbleguy -> RE: Polls and Presidential Predictions 2012 (11/3/2012 7:29:51 AM)

I think that close to half of Americans have a death wish and will re-elect Obama. The GOP will likely maintain the House by a good margin and may even draw even in the Senate which will effectively hem in Obama's socialist tendencies for at least another two years.

mnottertail -> RE: Polls and Presidential Predictions 2012 (11/3/2012 7:31:32 AM)

My thought is that so many Americans; not having a deathwish, Willard will not be elected.

Senate might pick up a Dem, house remains about the same.

If you had bothered to read my posts over the last several years, you'd know it's both sides.

Yes I've read many of them and I get that. I was responding to only your post above and I was kidding around though I'm thinking the koolaid drinking remark originally came from a rightie needling a leftie.

Jim Jones to his congregation.... look how well that turned out
crazy religious crackpot to his sheep...
take that however you wish...

atursvcMaam -> RE: Polls and Presidential Predictions 2012 (11/3/2012 7:48:47 AM)

Don't look at the last 8 years. Look further back. Go back to Carter Reagan years for an economy this bad (numbers looked worse then, but Carter was not quite as adept at spin. Reagan was a joke and a laugh at that point, and until election night no one thought he had a prayer. Nixon was a pretty easy predecessor to talk smack about. Harder to call stupid, but easier to call evil. But that matters less than the potential of "Oh my God, 4 more years of this?"

That is a rewrite of history, there was no question that Reagan had the nod.  Bigtime.

What socialist tendencies are these, then?

Too bad we cant make a rule where people can only use the words they understand.

Ah yes I remember that, that's where the rightie must have plucked it from. [8D]

So then 4 Americans had to get killed even though there were other military assets told to stand down when they could have helped. All of it happening over a 7 hour period while our Commander in Chief sat there watching it go down. Then the asshole hopped on a plane to go party in Vegas...........smooth move Exlax.

But I guess it had to go down that way. I mean we wouldn't want to contradict the narrative that Obama has almost wiped out Al Quiada, after all he got Bin Laudin.

Armchair chickenhawks are not the military geniuses they would have you believe.

In April under St. Wrinklemeat in Beirut, an american embassy was slaughtered, so he went to congress and got $251 million for security, beefed up another embassy location in Benghazi and in september they slaughtered them, so.......October comes along and they slaughter some 200+ marines in the military compound.

What could have been done?

Obama didnt tell them to stand down it was the fucking fully inept General Patreus ultimately, after fucking up in Iraq and Afghanistan he has taken his worthlessness to a new level. Nevertheless, at what point were the four killed and how long was the gun battle and who knew the situation at all?  I have read the accounts and NOBODY, even the guys that went over there (and didnt do a fucking thing that saved the situation, and where were these troops going to come from and how many) cuz it was a CIA deal, not military (and armchair chickenhawks are also unaware of the 5Ms.)

Now, the military did get a response together:

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/11/pentagon-on-benghazi-troop-movements-swift-action-on-night-of-attack/

But it ain't magic, there is no 50000 troops out of nowhere in less than 3 minutes.

Oh, all the jets scrambled saved how many world trade towers, pentagons and lives?

It is ututored whining with no semblance of reality included.  I understand the frustration, but it don't make it real.
