ORIGINAL: kdsub Why haggle over wording? Butch That's what the Founders did, Butch. The crossed 't's' and dotted 'i's' were looked at for substance, definition and value to the whole. The Founders knew that haggling over the words was an important part of the process and they were some pretty savvy cats. Some of that haggling took hours if not days. Some of the haggling of future words added to our Founding documents took years if not decades. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me. We are not the Separate States of America so using language which tends towards separate but equal undermines of the very name of our country and doesn't sit right with me. mmv
