ROFL

It's so funny how feminists are allowed to complain all they like. But yet when a male complains about male issues, people come up with the most ridiculous assumptions like this.

Your gender bias is blatantly obvious.

Really, at this point I am just demonstrating that one can respond to different posters in a single post and still have it show to whom they are responding. Kind of a: HEY! Lookie what I can do!!!!! Is it not nifty?!?!? Sort of thing.

So in other words, the people you are posting to need crutches to comprehend? Not like it's so glaringly obvious that people can realise their own words being displayed in a quote.

Gotta larf.

Oh, please, do show us examples of how she is gender biased.

Aylee and I argue over points all the time.

She gets along with mnay male posters.

Please... do show us... this really should be interesting.

The really hilarious thing about this whole pissing match, of course, is that the posters who are most adamant that unless there's completely equivalent treatment of both sexes in all circumstances then men are being impressed by the evil feminist conspiracy are also banging on about the innate and essential differences that arise from sexual dymorphism. Having your cake and eating it or what?

I must admit, I hadn't noticed that one. I shall have to masticate on the notion. But it sounds plausible.

quote:

And don't even get me started on the notion that there's a consensus among all feminists and that no f*******i has ever dissed another woman but save all of their bile for poor oppressed blokes. I can't see how anybody would think that if they'd ever read any feminism, or even seen the notorious feminists Germaine Greer or Camille Paglia on the telly...)

I think that people lump all feminists together as one homogenous group for the same reason that Mary Poppins called all birds 'sparrers'. They don't care and don't have any discrimination. They don't even feel the *need* for any discrimination. They just have some vague, generalised hatred, that's all.

Me, my biggest gripe is that there's such a paucity of understanding of the idea of 'divide and conquer'. Those with the power get away with it, yet again. I keep wanting to say: 'You're aiming your cannons at the wrong frigging enemy!'.

Simply because a male talks about male sexism/discrimination. That's being biased, especially when she would never make such an assumption towards a feminist. What is feminism about again? Oh that's right, it's all about COMPLAINING, yes, the very thing that men get shamed for doing when it's in favour of their gender.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do not focus on pointing out the "myriad deficiencies in men" – I have highlighted and poked fun at socialized gender roles and expectations of "appropriate" female behavior.  Some threads talk about men, some about women. Some highlight social stereotypes in the male gender - some in the female.  Given that we still don't have true equality in the home or the workplace, the balance is still skewed towards male attitudes and behaviors, but neither Collarme members nor I focus exclusively on bad behavior by men.

It is part and parcel of clarity in writing combined with proper citation/recognition of others words and ideas.  Anything less would be a form of intellectual fraud and/or theft.

Hell I don't know where the hell to start with these ones , but I will start with Nick .

Now I have been actively involved with MRA activities online and off for the last 7 years, been involved with everything from the MANKIND organisation to the Campaign Against Living Miserably , and I have a pleasure that is almost sadistic when it comes to upsetting feminists , I also helped get the radfem London conference last summer in London thrown out of the facilities it tried to use ( amazingly killing male babies and reducing men to ten percent of the worlds population is acceptable forms of discourse at a public event , but thankfully the fact they had banned transgender women was enough to get them thrown out ) .

I also campaign against false rape allegations , and through online and off I am very prolific in discussing this , hell my FB page is littered with it and I manage to keep a large percentage of female on there who not only agree and support the stance I take , and tazzy is one of them , she has not just from working but also from other areas has an empathy and an understanding of issues affecting men and women , and like myself sees that there is not just black and white , that there are shades of grey , and that modern feminisim is very much like animal farms pigs, it was a good and noble idea that has been corrupted by those only interested in more power , she has also been at the fore of many arguments backing my view, and not just because its my view but because she genuinely believes in it , tazzy identifies as a feminist , id say first way feminist but there is something that hasn't really been broached in this , tazzy is a slave , one of the most pure at heart ones I have ever online or off known but she as a woman exercised her right to choose to live as she does, she chose to do this , modern second wave and third wave feminisim , the hateful kind wouldn't allow her to do so because its against feminist hive mind.

Now I can throw out things like the stern report , the consad report , erin pizzey , warren Farrell to name but a few, I have the knowledge behind it and instead of throwing insults at those who I disagree with ( when in fairness most feminists who try and enter into a debate with closed minded tactics ) and I have the conviction to stand there with it , I cant disagree with a lot of the facts you throw up what I disagree with is your attempting to shame people who disagree , that's a disingenuous way of doing things , it will never help things change and only fosters hatred , and we want change , things aren't right as they are but being a keyboard warrior alone will do nothing .

We just passed through novemeber all that long ago , without much effort I managed to during movemeber raise a grand of so for prostate cancer , I also took great delight in arguing with a domme who felt that my opposition to circumcision including boys as well as girls was missing the point because "girls" were the ones who needed help .

Now with all of that , and with the fervent anti feminist that I am you would think that a bigot like tazzy wouldn't want anything to do with me because I represent everything that you think she is against and yet , this bigot ......... she is one of the most important most loyal people in my life, I trust her implicitly and view her morals, her view on people as nothing less than stellars , I don't associate with bigots and I associate with her

Feminism refers to a movement -- a collection of loosely connected groups and individuals committed to organized action, including changes in behavior of members of the movement and persuasion of others outside the movement to make change.

But I think I see what your problem is Nick. You know . . . aside from the lack of a spine and the latent misogyny?  As long as you continue to act like women are a separate species and, thus, not relate to us as HUMAN BEINGS, you’ll continue to alienate the majority of us on sight or send those unfortunate souls who would actually date you (Bleh!) screaming into the night.

I disagree with that. You should see the modern radical feminists in the feminist groups on fetlife. A lot of them are slaves/subs.

All in all from your post, you have your opinion on tazzy and I have mine. I do think she is closed minded on some things, she needs to think more of how it's exactly like to be in a man's shoes.

Lack of spine? Haha. Oh and yes, how misogynist of me to disagree with contemporary feminism.

Give me an example how I don't treat women as human beings?

I see that you have still not figured out how to properly attribute quotes.  You poor dear.

To answer your question, your own words: http://www.collarchat.com/fwd.asp?messageID=4345527

You can add to that your failure to even comprehend that there is more than one kind of feminism.  Also your dismissal of any woman's opinion.  Females are not really "real" to you, are they?

Naw, you have just oppressed him.  And you have never walked in his shoes.  I wonder how many pairs of extra socks you would have to wear for that?  I suppose you could cut down on the number if you rolled a sock up and shoved it in the toe.  Although. . . you are quite a bit taller than I am, so perhaps you would not need to do that.

There is no proper or improper way between your way and my way.

If a person can't realise their own words in a quote, there is something wrong, and it's not from my end.

quote:

Your link doesn't work.

quote:

You can add to that your failure to even comprehend that there is more than one kind of feminism.

Fail! I'm very aware that not every feminist thinks the same, we have been through all of this before. I have never claimed that ALL feminists do or think this and that. I simply disagree with the elements of contemporary feminism. Such like the discrimination in wage gap myth. I disagree with many feminist beliefs, this is totally different than saying all feminist do this or that.

But I am guessing this will go through one ear and out the other and not long in the future this will be thrown at me once again.

quote:

lso your dismissal of any woman's opinion.

How can my dismissal of an opinion I simply disagree with have anything to do with it being from a woman?

You're just making up things about me. You are creating a strawman against me simply because I have views that are against your own.

I would suggest the individual in question be drafted into the military as a human IED/Mine detector. Then they have something to whine about.
