I have been on here for awhile and it is very hard to find a true mistress.I yearn to serve one lady I am honest, sincere have experience and I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get back into the lifestyle. PLEASE HELP ME Jay

I agree with what Baroana wrote. Also research the threads that tell you how to make a good profile. How many munches have you attended in the past few months? Also, how many events do you normally attend? Many people find their partners in real life rather than online.

When I read your profile I couldn't tell if you want a LTR or just a once in awhile one. You did say you want someone who doesn't ask for money. Does that mean she buys all the toys or are you willing to help purchase toys and the costumes you might expect her to wear? What activities do you do for fun? Movies? Hiking? Tennis? How will a Domme know if you and she are compatible if she has no idea if you and she have something besides BDSM common?

You have a decent profile I think. Find profiles you like, and contact them in as normal a way as possible.

It seems just a tad out-of-place to me that a person WHO HAS NO PROFILE AT ALL should be instructing someone on how they should be writing and presenting their own??

I think you should start out by reading the Ask a Mistress FAQ, ALL of it actually. There's some very good information therein and it was put there for a reason. Also, I don't know what you think a "true" Mistress is, but one person's true is another person's fake. It just depends on what you're looking for is all.

I can't speak for peppermint but...

1.she may not be searching for play/partnership.
2.she may have profiles elsewhere
3.as a woman, she can provide insight as to what would be attractive

I'm just curious as to why you have some authority on who can and cannot give advice on this.

I agree with Peppermint, provide some of your vanilla interests, don't stick to just one resource, get yourself out into real life meetings, and be willing to CONTRIBUTE something financially to the relationship, even if it's just bringing your own toys & costumes for an occasional Play session. I understand your avoidance of Pro-Dommes in favor of a more substantial relationship...but even in a "vanilla" relationship nobody likes a freeloader.

There is a Mistress in our area who also was a pro for many years. She is well respected in the community and carried the title of Ms. World Leather at the Dallas convention. She is warm, caring and in total control of her life and the submissives in her family. I have had the pleasure of playing with her and I have to say it was one of the best scenes I have ever had. I have also had the privilege of serving her on many occasions and again she was wonderful. On the other hand I have bet some Mistresses who were never pros and they were total assholes. I wouldn't have let them near me nor had a relationship with them for any reason. Now I can totally understand that you want a relationship and not a paid for session. I disagree that it's out of place - I've taken part in lots of market research sessions giving feedback on advertising and packaging, despite having never done any advertising or packaging design myself. The views of a potential consumer or audience member are still valuable, since you need to know how you are coming across.
