I've always found it funny when an adult reaches the "pee-pee, ca-ca" and "your mother dresses your funny" level of insults.

I also find it funny when someone who can't manage to find what they're looking for tells everyone who has, that they need to get a life.

I think maybe the OP's problem is that he's being told the problem he's having is HIM. He doesn't want to hear that even if it's true. It also looks like his verbal tantrums have him on Moderation.

OP, I have been reading and posting on these forums for several years. While I have not developed any personal relationships with any of my fellow posters, I have learned that many are involved in loving, satisfying relationships. Therefore, your advice to "get a life" is kinda stupid.

Jay would be the person who started the thread. Otherwise known as the OP or original poster.

Allow Me to explain something to you, dave, since it seems both you and jay don't understand this about the way CM forums work. Anybody, regardless of gender or role, can answer any post on any of the forums if they feel they have something to contribute. Steven happens to be one of the gentlemen who responds to posts on this board because he very often has good advice. He is just as welcome here as I am in Ask A Master or Ask A Submissive. That's the way the people who run this site have decided it will go so whatever you or the OP think of that is really secondary.

Now, it's wonderful that somebody with a brand new account seems to know so much about the people who respond here. In case you missed it, I'm going to say for the second time on this thread that I, for one, honestly don't give a darn what you think of My appearance, or the appearance of anyone else for that matter. It's exceptionally childish of you, the OP, or anybody else to start slinging personal attacks based on somebody's looks. Which, by the way, may be one of the very reasons that the OP is having difficulty finding someone. One good selection criteria that people can use when finding partners is watching the way they treat other people. Would you want someone who is rude and nasty as a part of your life? I'll take not looking like Cindy Crawford any day of the week rather than be vicious and vile to others based on appearance.

Whether the OP likes it or not, competition for a Dominant woman's attention is tough. It's actually harder for somebody who already has a woman in his life, so whether the 'wife' that is sort of cropped out of the pic is still around or not, some people are going to see that pic and automatically discount him. (Though it is a bit ironic that the OP started slinging fat euphemisms considering the size of the other women that were kind of chopped out when that pic was posted.) Put that on top of the fact that the OP isn't really Tom Selleck, himself, is obviously very rude, treats people poorly, and all of the other stuff displayed in this thread and, well, he's going to have a tough ass time of finding someone who wants to be involved in kink with him. As somebody who is involved in the kink community in general, I would be thoroughly embarrassed to be associated with a man like that. And that's coming from a chick that you wouldn't consider all that attractive.

As frustrating as these threads can be to read, I am in favour of men like Jay and Dave sharing their thoughts and opinions on the message boards. Their posts will save future potential partners a lot of time since they will be able to see at a glance the way they treat people and behave.

I'm always giving people advice on how to come off well and think about how they are portraying themselves, but I'm going to amend that in this case. Jay, Dave, keep doing what you're doing. Keep being yourselves. Your actions speak volumes. Your insults say far more about yourselves than the people you are insulting.

I appreciate your reply. I do want to point out to you that Steven is not gay. Not unless there is something that I am not aware of, anyway. It wouldn't matter to Me, either way. The value of a man is in who he is and not his orientation.

For a number of years, one of the things that I have commented on concerning the structure of the site is that the boards for male and female Dominants were unnecessarily segregated. I have to admit, I just don't see the purpose. I happen to be a leather person. Over the years, our protocols have become what is more in tune with the world view. That such topics as power dynamics, authority, control, or experience are not judged by what genitalia a person has between their legs. Half of the time, I'm the first person to engage in debate when somebody claims that I shouldn't be on the Master's board because I wasn't born with a swinging Richard. My leather wasn't earned due to a flesh and blood penis. They didn't put that cap on My head because I was seen as less than. The same holds true here.

If a person is looking to learn something around this joint, that person should be open to views from everyone. Gender, orientation, lifestyle role, and the most ridiculous thought of personal appearance mattering when it comes to gaining information, does nothing but show the shallowness of a person. I would hope that people have evolved from such petty matters.

Had jay not reacted the way he did, this could have been a very educational thread. How does one go about finding what they are looking for? How do they overcome the obstacles in finding a partner. What does a person need to do to put their best foot forward?

There is an old adage that says you can't argue with success. A number of successful people in finding relationships and dynamics were here on this thread. The opportunity that the OP had to learn from these people has been lost.
