I think the Lusitanian can be discounted. The German government had for some time made it known that it would sink any ship in English water, regardless of the ships national registration. Further, the Captain of the German U-Boat violated international law that required him before opening fire on a non-military ship the U-boat was required to give the crew and passengers time to leave safely. As pointed out by SadistDave the Lusitanian was sunk on May 7th 1915, the US did not enter the First World War until April 6th 1917. The British unlike the French did not recruit Americans to fight for them in that war as well. So much for Kirata
As to the “Yellow Cake” matter, the first documents on Saddam attempting to buy yellow cake uranium from Niger, came from Italian military intelligence, which were
forgeries. The Bush Administration in attempting to justify invading Iraq sent Joseph Wilson to Niger to find proof of the Italian report. However, Wilson found no evidence of any attempt by Saddam in purchasing uranium and wrote a report of such. It is believed that the Bush Administration altered Wilson report to show that Saddam was buying uranium and passed that altered report to British Intelligence. Bush in his 2003 State of the Union Address mentioned the buying of uranium by Saddam to help justify his plans to invade Iraq. There were many who questioned what Bush stated. Wilson himself went public and stated he did not find evidence of Saddam purchasing uranium. For Wilson actions the Bush Administration leaked that Wilson wife Valerie Plame as a CIA agent, in violation of law. Later in the Iraq War it was proven Saddam had no plans to manufacture nuclear weapons.
On April 2 1982, Argentine military forces invaded the Falkland Islands starting a war between Argentina and the United Kingdom; the US did not participate in this. The British won. I do agree with Politesub 53 the comments are offense, arrogant and incorrect.
