ORIGINAL: angelikaJ Nope, state based services such as supported work programs, help with financial management or a variety of day-habilitation programs, or club house model programs. In some states, the Department of Children and Families or the Department of Mental Health or Developmental Disabilities Services (and other assorted names), have supports for such. Such a thing might be possible with a more current diagnosis... depending on what state services are available. See, I didn't even know that. Granted my experience is only in California and MD as far as dealing with SSI and as far as I know neither of those states have the type of services you describe. Although there are out reach programs, that some therapist office provide separately that act as your advocate and help with budgets, paper work, appointments, plugging you into programs, ect.
