ORIGINAL: Moonhead So, just out of interest, who's going to pay for the broodmare to take time off work or drop out of school and attend antenatal classes while she brings her precious and irreplaceable foetus (that will be placed for adoption the second she drops it, obvs) to term? You've still yet to cite any sources for this "48% of dirty skanks are on their second abortion because they're too stupid to use birth control" figure, you know. You want a source, Here it is, and it is not an anti abortion website. As I said I do not get my information from pro choice web pages. Now as I said, I can see that a woman having one abortion in her life as being in a place where it is the only option. However, two? And being Catholic, I should share the church's view on birth control, however, unless humans are far superior in breeding than any other mammal on the planet, repeated pregnancies carry more risk with each pregnancy, and unless the biological clock is a joke, after a certain age, the risk of carrying a child to term is greater. I admit I am not a doctor. The majority of my experience with pregnancies have been with dogs, horses and cattle. And like a growing number of breeders, at some point you have to stop breeding a mare or a cow or a dog. When I owned horses, I bred my four mares twice in seven years, to me it made no sense to have a mare bred as soon as she weaned a colt or filly. I have seen a number of mares that have been repeatedly bred over a short span end up dead due to complications at birth or during the pregnancy. I assume that the same would be true of a human. Look at "19 Kids and counting" the last two pregnancies for that mother were problematic, to say the least, not that I watch the show, I am just unfortunate to hear people talk about 1) the insanity of having 19 kids or, 2) how nice it would be to have a large family. In today's economy, the average two job household could not afford more than two children, and even two forces a lot of tight budgeting. As I have also said, birth control is not 100% effective, and it too carries risks. Blood clots and others according to every birth control drug commercial on television. Now, as for the broodmare statements. According to the page I cited, 52% of women have one abortion and that is the end of it. Dont you think there is something a little questionable for a woman to have more than one? However, I get the impression from some of the women's posts on this subject, that abortion is always the only correct solution to the problem of an unwanted pregnancy. Now I can honestly say that I have never had sex outside a committed relationship. I can also say I have known men that as soon as they heard "possibly pregnant" they bolted for the hills. So, yes, it is unfair to leave the woman holding the bag so to speak. But again, what the fuck do I know, I am only a male and a dumb fucking grunt.
