ORIGINAL: dink22 Lady Pact, I don't understand where you're getting this interpretation from. I don't have a problem with anything anyone else does. As long as it's between two consenting adults, fine. Have I ever said anything otherwise? Here is my position from the beginning, and it has never changed. 1. Femdom is an eccentric, independent sexuality, similar to being gay. Dominant women belong with submissive men and vice versa. These relationships have great potential for creating gifted children. 2. I detest anyone (male or female) who tries to exploit submissive males for their money. They are easy targets and I think it's the lowest element of the human race that does this. Beyond that, I don't care what people do. I don't even care about these bullshit "financial dommes," I've only asked that they be kept separate, and that all the women seeking to profit from the lonliness of submissive males be kept separate as far as profiles on CM. Of course, we both know the response to that was similar to the response on gun control: if people are still going to be murdered, what's the point of having any control??? By the same token, most of the people on CM said, "well if some financial dommes are still going to post profiles as lifestyle dommes anyway, why have any control???" But fuck it. Evidently you and the lifestyle dommes don't have a problem being lumped in with scam dommes, financial dommes, etc. It's all cool as far as you're concerned. Well, Okay. Evidently that's what femdom is in 2013. I'm a guy trying to elevate it to being equal to traditional male-dominant sexuality. And I'm increasingly thinking I'm a fool for doing that. More and more, especially at sites like this, I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm not quite the life-philosopher I thought I was and that maybe femdom is something that happens in males as a kind of Oedipus complex. In other words, it's not a normal sexuality (which I thought it was), but rather a psychological aberration occurring mostly in males. Which is probably what it is. quote:

Do you mind if submissive women try to exploit dominant males for their money? You know.... they try to find the rich guy so that they can get the goods in exchange for submission.. although that's never put into words. I'm not trying to challenge your original take, I'm just wondering if this is about women going after men for money, or if you personally don't like being associated with the men who seek out women they have to pay. quote:

Someone who would lump me in with every other domme is not someone who would be of interest to me. Clearly their inability to read profiles and converse would automatically preclude them from being on the shortlist. quote:

Honestly dink, I think you're trying to elevate it because you're not feeling too proud of your own submission, and it's likely because you want to distance yourself from someone who would only get off it they pay for play, or shoes, or camming. Or you may want to distance yourself from the guys who can ONLY get their d/s thrills if they open their wallet, or distance yourself from what you see as men who are desperate, or women whom you equate with working girls. If we femdoms don't worry about elevating ourselves, you don't need to either. We don't need a savior or public defender. I'm quite secure in who I am, what I like, and no man has ever paid my bills. Not as a submissive, boy friend, a live in or husband. I don't see dominance, femdom or maledom, to be a form of sexuality. I see it as a hierarchy that may or may not involve kink. And for what it's worth, kink is becoming quite mainstream with or without the d/s dynamic. People will pay to be topped or to bottom. Onlilne or in person, with or without orgasms. There are as many ways of doing this as there are people doing it. I'm afraid if you want certain ways excluded, you'll need to host your own website where you can make the rules and define d/s as you see fit.
