Thats just beeing a jerk(the part in red though the entire post screams jerk to me) I think you read a different post than I did. I didn't get that perception at all from Crappy's post. Are you sure you're not having a knee-jerk reaction because of Crappy's reputation rather than a sincere reaction to the words he actually wrote? "I have struggled with who carries the toy bag, do I have her do it as "service" or do I, as the man, do it? " What it is about that sentence that turns a man's struggle into a jerk post? Seems to be a very honest question and one which I would imagine many male dominants have asked themselves. "If you are sitting on a bus and woman steps up and there are no seats, you stand up and offer her yours." What about this one? What do you find offensive enough to state that the entire post screams 'jerk' to you? "While I am always willing to give the benefit to the doubt to someone who applies common sense to something inappropriate, it doesn't mean that having a solid common sense will allow you to float through the scene as things are often upside down or not what they appear." What is the problem you have with this part of the post? I find it thoughtful and provoking and very pertinent to what we, as a whole society, have pounded into us almost from birth. If you're a man you should do this .. if you are a woman, you should expect that... Then you discover BDSM and a lot of perceptions are, as Crappy so eloquently stated, turned completely upside down. It can take a while to get things straight in your own head and then apply them to the life you wish to lead. It seems as if you took one or two sentences (out of context) to apply your reaction. Would you consider rereading the post and see if you get the same sort of reaction to it? Celeste
