The original topic is "What do you do for a living?" and that can continue. The different subject of "Racism caused me to be on welfare" can start as a new topic in our Politics and Religion section as I see it getting messy and political. The subject of "Women who have not given birth or cannot give birth" should probably have it's own thread too, since I see many that would like to comment and it is likely to change this thread if it continues here.

It is correct that we allow a lot more leniency in the Off Topic section for off topic comments and such, but complete hijacks are still discouraged and if severe enough they must come to a halt.

Since Off Topic is for the casual and light banter, I hope everyone can take a breath and continue to enjoy the forums in a way that does not cause issues.

If anyone has any questions do not post them here, but instead you should contact me or Chi.

Thanks for making CollarMe a better place,
Gamma

I am a database administrator. I basically sit behind a computer and code for most of the day. When I'm not doing that then training others in our department, consulting other departments or meeting with contractors to collaborate on projects.

"We" shove (er, carefully and deliberately emplace) Plutonium (and neptunium, and americium, and curium, and californium) in a hole in the ground (broadly speaking). I do "oversight" (paperwork that allows the shoving of plutonium into said hole to continue).

hi!
just for fun, i am curious about what everyone does for a living? do you stay home, work outside of the home, etc?

i'm in the field of finance--and investment advisor, actually. ... a very non-submissive type of role, i must say...i work all day every day with mostly men and have to be fairly tough to hang with them and compete for business against them..i'm sure they would all die/not believe it for 2 seconds that i am truly submissive in my heart/soul.

anyone else care to share?

Glad to tell you.

I own 3 firms, one regional, one national, one international.

All (except the regional one where I actually have to meet people) are a blast.

37 years, 10 years and 4 years.

It's a lot of fun.

OsideGirl I know other women who feel the same way as you, and all I can say is
YOU GO GIRL

Thank you.

I'm a whole and happy person. I'm married to the love of my life. I have friends that would come over at 3am and help bury the body. I have an amazing relationships with my family. I have two wonderfully goofy dogs. Own two businesses. Have a nice house and a nice car. I BEAT CANCER! TWICE!

I don't see anything about my life that deserves someone feeling sorry for me.

BRAVO!

I have a few jobs...
I own and operate an advertising company that handles accounts for hospitals, schools, correctional facilities, banks, casinos etc.
That is done 24/7 365 anytime I'm awake and when duty calls.

I do hair...not at a salon, I have a section in the house (not "kitchen hair") where I have my bowl, station and dryer hooked up.
I do that maybe a couple times a week.

I dance (exotic) on weekends;unless I have a session or two booked...which brings me to my pro work. (Pro Domme)

Thus the sig line: the WORKING fin Domme.

Wealth management (mostly retired these days). Like the purple screen font lady, I live in a poor place where me taking a job away from someone who really needs it would be karmically unwise.

It's weird to be done, but done I am and I am very OK with that.

By day I'm a mild mannered professor of archaeology, but by night I'm a whip cracking adventurer.

I sell industrial equipment & machinery and a distributor for explosives. Who knew! Formerly an insurance and annuities agent..so boring. Also have a dog stud service, rental properties and during tax time, which is unfortunately now :(, I'm a tax preparer. My subbies know I appreciate every one of the services they provide because I would have gone crazy by now if it weren't for them.

I have found a new passion as a giver of atomic wedgies... Which any injuries sustained may be covered by Obamacare, since they're up your ass already.

Are your accounts local or do you have accounts in the Philly/south NJ area? I ask because I am a field service technician with experience on a wide variety of machinery and I'm looking.

I have the same job as Windchymes, the full-time MLT part, not the massage therapist. Before that I worked at Subway, for way too long, as regular employee, assistant manager, and general manager. I love my lab job so much more.
