quote:
ORIGINAL: sexyred1 Do you actually think a woman giving you a compliment means they are hitting on you? If they compliment on shoes, clothes, hairstyle, then no. But one of my girlfriends looked star struck at me and said, "OMG, you are gorgeous! You are like glowing today and the tan looks fabulous, you're beautiful!" Now that made me uncomfortable, now if a man says that, I'd be beaming. But I ignored this girlfriend and change the subject. And she laughed, she knows I'm homophobic. I don't even like any woman to physically touch me. If any girlfriend hugs me, I'd stiffen up. That is different from simply saying, "Hey! I love your dress! Where did you get it?" Or "Hey, cool handbag!!". She could have simply said, "I love your tan!! " That would have sounded better to me. And I'd be able to say, "Yea, Awesome right??!!!" Because I actually do love being tanned, I am a sun person. And just came back from Phuket Thailand hanging out at the beach.
