Status: offline 		The problem is that there seems to be some problems with the article as already stated.

Why doesn't he get assistance from the VA?
Why are they living apart?

Based on his unemployment income, they would meet the guidelines for medicaid

Also, Florida has kidcare, so the children would get insurance, which typically includes the family.

Those are just a few questions. Without those answers, as someone else said, it seems as though the writer intentionall left out info to make a point.

Personally, I'm too lazy to grow my own wheat and mill it into flour to bake bread (let alone growing and caring for my own yeast culture).

Hold on, now. I do have "drip systems" of sorts (if you could only see my gutters...). I do allow the rain to roll off my rooftops and car. I don't hoard that from Nature.
