The failure of the Broncos to fight,

Has made it embarrassing to watch their plight.

So to this thread I have come,

But alas, with poetry, I am done.

Seriously folks, after a while it becomes exhausting and then it ceases to be fun and creativity should always be fun.

As for this thread . . . I dunno. I find it hard to believe that some people would take this topic seriously as some seemed to.

I don't mind good natured joshing but serious bigotry leaves me cold.

I continue to maintain, however, that Canadians cannot make a decent chicken wing. I have never, NEVER, encountered a decent chicken wing in Canada.
I do not know why this is so. It is just some weird quirk of the country. You can get good pizza in Canada and decent submarines as well. I've enjoyed some mighty fine dining in Canada.
But for some inexplicable reason, they just can't handle chicken wings.

It is a mystery.

You know, I've think it is grossly unfair that the hardworking Mexican who just wants a job so they can help out their poor family at home has to sneak across the border, continually dodge authorities and live in fear of being caught.
Meanwhile Justine Bubbles gets to stroll across the border, caterwauling his soulless pap, just as pretty as you fucking please. Someone tell me where the fucking justice is in that?

I actually don't care where he is as long as I can change the channel whenever he appears. I just find it curious (not really) that the poor Hispanic people who want to live here have to put up with so much opposition and vitriol

Jeez, I'm away from the board for less that a friggin' day and you people are all set up to annex Canada? I call dibs on the Canadian Ballet, by the way.

You can have the Canadian Ballet. I want to be military governor of Stratford because I enjoy the theater there. Also, that Justy Bubbles guy calls Stratford his home town (a black mark on an otherwise great town).
I will lay a trap for him and when he returns I will clap him in irons and the world will be safe for decent music again.

Also, I want to be Minister of the Strip Bars. If there is another thing that we can agree on, it is that Canada does have better strip bars thanks to America's puritanical bullshit (now if we could just get some decent fucking wings in those strip bars).

Dudes, we can't annex Canada bc when Obama fucks this place up, that's where I'm running to.
I don't know much about Canada but, it can't be headed where we are.

Restrictive compared to ours. Most Canadians I deal with on a regular basis are okay folks, but every once in awhile I run into one who ruins it for everyone.

And Marc, the "Canadian Ballet" is the euphemism for the strip clubs over the border, although the term hasn't been in common usage for awhile now.

I think I get the point of the question.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union, the US has gotten involved in some stupid, short duration (compared to the cold war) conflicts.

Now if we can use the media properly, we can make Canada look like a new evil empire, therefore justifying a move to annex the country.

Of course we would have to do it better than Alan Alda did.
