....American CIA Director John Brennan said on 12 March that a full-scale invasion of Russian troops onto the territory of Ukraine will begin after the referendum in Crimea. The Ukrainian political analyst Pavlo Nuss shares this viewpoint: “On 17-18 March, regular troops of the Russian Federation will begin an invasion of Ukraine,” he says. This expert believes the invasion will begin simultaneously from the south and east of the country. “They will begin the occupation of Kherson and Mykolaiv from Crimea, attempting to take control of the shoreline of the Dnieper. They will attempt simultaneously to enter the territory of Mariupol and Berdyansk to establish control over the Azov region plus the Sea of Azov. This will happen, if we consider the invader’s ‘maritime interest’ scenario. The mobilization of the RF army at the borders of our motherland testifies that Russia is prepared for any scenario of military operations,” Nuss explains.

Could you please link to your sources? For someone who complains about people not supplying sources to their claims, you seem to resonate this hypocrisy quite well my friend.

Yes, on 3/11 but a day later as the OP referred to if you had read it...on 3/12 Brennan said this:

Then I'll expect Monday to be a very interesting day. I'll be watching for the Tatar response.

(Glad I've got some popcorn.)

Russia has been planning annexation of Crimea at lest seven years and US intelligence have been well aware of it.
http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Security-Watch/Backchannels/2014/0311/Russia-s-plans-for-Crimea-were-long-in-the-making-video

No sane person believes a word what comes out of Obama regime. There is always some kind of psy-op game in progress. We will learn about what really happens possibly years later.
My advise: follow real facts not the talking heads. There are reliable independent sources, and it is good idea to use data confirmed by several independent sources. The US mass media is basically regurgitating what comes down the government controlled pipe.

It really isn't cool to pretend the issue with Ukraine is something new, especially when people are only now paying attention to what Putin has been doing since 2001. And it was BUSH who signed over all the oil deals to Putin, then accused Putin of waging oil wars, LOL...anyway...
Ask the Chechens about Vladmir Putin.

You've said nothing to refute the facts. Your opinion on a the creditability of a news organization means zero, and is uninteresting. You have no facts, no argument, so what it there worth discussing?

Bush was a moron when it came to Putin.

Harshest sanctions? 11 people are denied travel permits to the US. Assets frozen. No US administration team to the paralympics?

Ooooh. Harsh.

Been reading this post ... Politesub53 raises some references ... and makes good points.

If OP can't substantiate the content of the Opening Post ... I am thinking he mis-quoted the source to suit his views ....

Isn't that what Putin is doing?

Straight up. IMO, Putin totally played Bush. I never believed the "looked into his soul" bullshit for a second. Once KGB, always KGB.

I saw something about this the a couple of days ago. Apparently the strategy is to bust up the group of wealthy people feeding Putin money in an attempt to slow him down. I'll be surprised if it really amounts to anything though. Unfortunately. I think Putin's holding all the cards on Crimea and the West simply didn't see it coming.

Where's Curtis LeMay when you need him?
