I am a Master of over 23 years experience and I seek a sub or slave to become my true one.

My question is what qualities and traits do subs or slaves look for to find the right Master or Dom for them

Basically what MasterCaneman said. For me when I'm looking for a Dom/Domme I'm simply looking for a funny, intelligent, and geeky individual with a few similar kinks.

i am sorry i ever posted this question on here since it is turning out to be like every other forum i ever posted in more of a make me look like a fool then a actual discussion or effort to help someone understand what subs or slaves are looking for these days

Pouting aside, how can anyone give you a sensible answer to that question? Everyone has different values and goals and tastes. The first two replies you got were about as good as it can get - things that make you a great person are the same things that make you an attractive dominant.

Besides, are you planning to change if we're all looking for things you're not? Best just to be completely yourself and someone out there is bound to be hunting for exactly that.

23 years of real life training and being a Master just lately i have found more fakes then real people i guess so i was trying to see if maybe i was the one doing something wrong

i actually meet my mentor while serving in the navy

the top lessons i learned were aftercare is super important
never punish a sub when your mad because you might go to far
and also make sure to check on your sub or slave at all times and watch for signs of them being in distress

As with any relationship, different people seek different things. I'd suggest you ask yourself whether you're not going about this question slightly wrong.

I don't think your future happiness, or your future sub's for that matter, is going to be helped if you decide upon some "set" of things or attributes and then try to have them.

You're you. What you need to do is find a sub whose ideal relationship fits with the ideal relationship you're after.

Now, you have to be realistic... If your ideal is something pretty out there, then the likelihood is you might search forever. .. so as an exercise ask yourself the following questions...

What can you offer over the long term in a relationship? Don't just think in terms of kink... think about the whole deal.

Then put yourself in the shoes of a potential partner... what sort of person would be attracted to that kind of offer?
