To be crystal clear, Sanity, the 'standard talking points' here - the *conventional* talking points - are pro-Israeli. The conventional view is that the Israelis are fine upright types, not that different from ourselves, etc, etc; while the Palestinians are kind of 'semi-human', a bunch of animals - mad and dangerous; savage and primitive.

I know it's anathema to you, because your entire perception of yourself is all about 'seeing the world as it is - the reality, all the bullshit aside and all the trendy crap ditched - seeing it sanely, that is' - but it is *you* who is being politically correct here. The evidence is vast and it isn't just those 'contemptible lefties and libtards' who are pointing to it.

Do you have any factual material you'd like to contribute? Do have any material that rebuts the charges of ethnic cleansing by the Israelis? Do you dispute that the Israeli Govt's policy of ethnic cleansing Palestine of its indigenous population underwrites Jewish terrorism such as the case in the OP? Do you deny that settlers/colonists are not only stealing the land from under the Palestinians but also making their lives hell to drive them off the land they have stolen? Do you deny that the Israeli Govt has long provided protection and support for the settler/colonists thugs as they carry out day-to-day violence against the inhabitants of Palestine?

In short, do you have anything sensible to contribute to the discussion? If you do, I for one, and I am certain others too, would like to see it, if you can find any evidence that is remotely credible.

Palestinian civilians are being killed by either the IDF or settler thugs in an almost routine manner. Scarcely a week goes by without a new death. Both sides in the Palestine /Israel conflict have legitimate security issues but the need for resolution is far more pressing for Palestinian civilians who are dying in far greater numbers than anyone else in the conflict. Palestinians need urgent protection from the lethal IDF terrorists and settler/colonist thugs who threaten and terrorise their lives on a daily basis.

The Occupation of Palestine must cease. There is nothing stopping an Israeli withdrawal to its internationally recognised borders except Israeli intransigence belligerence and its indefensible ambition to steal another peoples' land and country.
