I could be wrong,

Whch is usual for you.

but it does not seem to me you are that...I would contend you, and anyone with left leaning sensibilities, is more or less the opposite of that.

Yet jefferson, whom you quote, bought louisiana...how is it possible for you (and jefferson) to talk out of both sides of your mouth at the same time?

By the same metric blacks not being able to vote did not prevent a black president????

Correct. Being able to vote is NOT a requirement for being President.

How does one become president if one cannot vote?
Note the question mark at the end of my first post.

No misogyny here.

Just a question for all strict Constitutionalists out there.

Article II of the Constitution outlines the powers of the President. It ONLY uses male pronouns. ("He", "His")

Would a female President not be entitled to those powers sans a Constitutional Amendment? We can all rationalize on WHY the Constitution was written that way, but that doesn't answer the question.

Would someone challenge it, if a woman were elected President? Keep in mind the Constitution does not say the President must be male, but rather seems to assume that it is the case.

What do you think?

I think that this is fun. Stupid never fails to amuse.

"Man the battle stations!" brings into question whether women should be in the Navy or not.

"Charwoman" brings into serious discussion whether men are legally (or in the English dept., by that term, let's keep focus, here) allowed to tend to either public or private facilities armed with a toilet brush. There might be better reasons to take such an implement from their hands, but the issue is raised. (See how easy that is?)

I could go on, but I am somewhat disinclined towards this sort of thing. Two bad jokes, I'm out, hope you kids have fun with it.
