No, the problem is far more widespread and far more fundamental than that. The problem is deep seated within American culture, you guys, on a cultural level, have a lover affair with both guns and outlaws.

As pointed out before the problem isn't guns.
It is a deterioation of values.
It is drugs.
It is gangs.
And it is the combination of drugs and gangs sometimes haveing gangs better financed that some cities.
You remove gang/drug related murders from the stats and you will see that we do not have a problem with society as a whole, but with the subculture that has no values, no morals , and lots of money to support their actions.
The vast majority of those legally owned guns are owned by that vasr majority of people who would only turn their weapon against another person in self defense.

Provide me a citation for that please. Earlier I posted stats that show that if you leave out suicide and murders in Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, and New Orleans that the U.S. Has a very low gun murder rate. Your blanket statement hasn't explained that.

Not nearly the level of horse shit as your claims of prowess with an air rifle, Arnie Oakley.

The majority of defensive firearm uses don't result in pulling a trigger, much less killing someone. Such events generally aren't newsworthy.

Then you don't know how to use a gun. Rule number one :

Once that guns comes out someone dies. No hesitation, no not6hing. No chance for them to take it from you.

You need to know that if you have a gun.

I don't know where this stupidity came from but here is the deal - you need a gun to defend against those who are stronger than you, not those who are weaker than you. NEVER give them the chance to take your gun away.

You gun should be the last thing they ever see. Don't pull it casually, only when needed, and of course to the shooting range sometimes to hone your shooting skills.
