I think we should give President Elect Trump a chance to unite the country. I don't think it will be happening, but he does claim to be good at the Art of the Deal...if he doesn't unite the country a peaceful #CalExit is the best outcome, flat out civil war is a more likely outcome...

I'll hold off on making a final decision on this until President Elect Trump actually takes office and has a chance unite us, I think the Presidency deserves at least that much respect. If he doesn't though, I don't know that he can keep this country united...#CalExit will be happening, and the result of that will be a much more conservative US Congress, so it's actually win-win, no need for a bloody war...

FR The title of the thread accepts a false believe. The nation will not be united unless both parties want it to be. I would suggest that not burning and rioting should be the first step. Trump can promise but he can't actually do much till Jan 20th, the riots can stop now.

I was thinking maybe it could be something else... someone/something that was neutral... that wasn't invested in the results (no bias).
