If Trump can get this country back running the way it is supposed to, no one will want any of the socialist stuff anymore. That's what people want when they get desperate to survive.

See, no one can name specific beneficial changes. Just this vague rhetoric.

No plan equals entropy. Things are just going to get worse.

I wonder how you'll spin it to make it the left's fault?

I'm confident you'll find a way.

It's the left's fault insofar as they are not satisfied with equal rights for everyone ... they want to change the country to become something it was never meant to be... a socialist nation.

It's the right's fault for not figuring out some way to reign in the power of corporations and failure to figure out a way to incent corporations to support the country.

Where'd you get that intell -- the Socialist Fighters' Handbook?

Bernie Sanders

Bullshit, seeing as Sanders is not a socialist. Apparently you, like most Americns, like to throw around political terms with no understanding of what they mean.

Don't tell us, tell Sanders, he thinks he is a socialist.

LadyDemura -> RE: How Can Trump Unite the Country? (11/12/2016 12:39:42 AM)

I think we should give President Elect Trump a chance to unite the country. I don't think it will be happening, but he does claim to be good at the Art of the Deal...if he doesn't unite the country a peaceful #CalExit is the best outcome, flat out civil war is a more likely outcome...

I've been buying land in Arizona for years in the hopes that Al Gore is actually right about a massive earthquake sending the Peoples' Republic of California into the sea. I'll have beachfront property!

I'll hold off on making a final decision on this until President Elect Trump actually takes office and has a chance unite us, I think the Presidency deserves at least that much respect. If he doesn't though, I don't know that he can keep this country united...#CalExit will be happening, and the result of that will be a much more conservative US Congress, so it's actually win-win, no need for a bloody war...

I am all for #CalExit, I have advocated that for years.

No, he doesn't. Pay attention before you go prognosticating.

While at the University of Chicago, Sanders joined the Young People's Socialist League (the youth affiliate of the Socialist Party of America) . . . During his mayoralty, Sanders called himself a socialist and was so described in the press . . . Sanders' 1990 victory was heralded by The Washington Post and others as the "First Socialist Elected" to the United States House of Representatives in decades ~Source

And yeah, I know, he doesn't advocate social ownership of property. Go figure.

I've been getting his emails almost every day for over a year now calling for a revolution and asking for money... among other things.

Look, if Democratic Socialism bothers you, don't vote for him.

Yes well what i am learning is that the left is never satisfied... first they want us to accept transgenders and not persecute them... (sure... sounds fair)... next they want us to believe there is no such thing as gender... just as one basic example of their modus operandi.

Musicmystery -> RE: How Can Trump Unite the Country? (11/12/2016 7:33:03 AM)

And the right strikes you as satisfied?

BamaD -> RE: How Can Trump Unite the Country? (11/12/2016 7:38:51 AM)

FR

The title of the thread accepts a false believe.
The nation will not be united unless both parties want it to be.
I would suggest that not burning and rioting should be the first step.
Trump can promise but he can't actually do much till Jan 20th, the riots can stop now.

mnottertail -> RE: How Can Trump Unite the Country? (11/12/2016 7:41:42 AM)

Yes, it does accept a false BELIEF. Nutsuckers have no desire to unite the country, and Trump is the felchgobbler of you all.

Good, you can prove your point. Right now, you can stand up and stop all of your divisiveness on this site and ask all felchers to join you in the future with civil discussions. You can show everyone that it's them and not you. Do it now.

Yes Sir, i agree. Hopefully we'll figure out how. I guess this type of thing is what has to happen to make change sometimes. I wish you could contact Trump somehow and tell him your idea. It makes so much sense, nobody would think of it.

Do you really think it would have to be a politician? I was thinking maybe it could be something else... someone/something that was neutral... that wasn't invested in the results (no bias). Just someone to facilitate a 'peace treaty' of sorts... so- to- speak.
