I agree, gun control doesn't "automatically" mean give up your guns. We don't lose our independence all at once. It happens in stages.

Fear is definitely a reliable marketing tool. It raised guns sales, and it also bought us The Patriot Act.

I obey the gun laws, I register the guns I'm legally required to register and I lock them away. So, If it sounds like I'm against gun control, that isn't necessarily true.
