MsPandora gave an excellent response to this question.

Thanks for the compliments.  It always means a great deal coming from you!

I do worry about the downside to this, though, as it's becoming more and more a part of my life.  Being catered to at this level can make a person extremely lazy AND not self sufficient.** When he had to go out of town for a few days unexpectedly I found it very frustrating to have to handle minutia on my own and did not realize just how MUCH stuff he did throughout the day.  His service is no longer a luxury, it's practically a necessity. I still have to figure out how I feel about that.
** too clarify, by "lazy" I don't mean all-consuming laziness and sitting around doing nothing all day; I am a workaholic and put a ton of energy into my career, but I do virtually nothing domestically and haven't for years now.

Speaking from a personal standpoint, I can't fathom ever being anything but tremendously independent.  I frustrate the hell out of a service submissive, and that's part of the fun.  I open my own doors as it pleases me.  I sometimes find it just as quick to go and grab myself a bottle of water from the fridge.  And yes, I'm able to bathe and groom myself!!!!  I handled the tasks of traveling internationally, close to 50,000 miles and 70some events as a leather titleholder and educator all on my own (plus all of my personal affairs and working full time.)  I can't say that I'd worry too much about becoming too dependent upon anyone else.  Perhaps it's the taurean in me.  When we finally allow it, we do enjoy the excesses and luxuries in life!

I have to say that I am one of the lucky ones who
have met  a lot of people from CM.Just this past week I found 2 that are willing for no strings attached serving/housekeeping.A few weeks ago I interviewed someone for yard work he is also from CM hes been here 3 times and what a wonderful 'worm' he is.Gets the plate before I ask seeing that the steaks are done...
hes a smart one

Most that I have are very attentive to My needs and make sure I have My coffee and water etc.So for Me Yes the slave boys understand...ones that dont..well they may or may not get a second chance to prove they are worthy.
