He doesn't want to strain his heart and take more risks than he has to (genetics). I think those are good reasons to work at it. I don't go around picking on overweight people, whether they're male or female. But I won't say that I don't privately have concern for their well-being. I need an active lifestyle to be happy - that's me. Others don't feel that way, and I understand that. Why harp on weight? Yes, it's a health problem or at least a potential one, but picking on someone never helps. If you want to bash someone, go after the jackasses that are busy flinging names and hurting people. Just my $0.02 zuma p.s. - I've just gotten back on the workout band wagon myself as of yesterday. 20 minutes of pilates and every upperbody move I could think of with 5 pound weights. My muscles are stiff today, LOL. I'll be giving my upper body a break from the weights and doing the 40 minute pilate workout today. I'm hoping to see good results by the new year.
